I wouldn't waste money on either bennett or landa because i don't see them adding anything to the current team around remco. Lefevere should say to remco, we can sign these two or stick with what you've got now and bump up his wages to €4million + performance bonuses.
At least Bennett.

At the current moment I think De Plus and possibly Tobias Foss (if he hasn't signed for an other team already) could be the best options. Hirt, Foss, De Plus and De Wilder would be a fairly good support for Remco in the mountains. Add Asgreen and Lampaert and you have a pretty good Tour team.

I think you have it completely wrong.

Bennett seems finished.

Landa had his best spring ever, probably. Mistimed form by the looks of Dauphine and Tour. Still not extremely bad. Could do a very good job as a super-dom in mountain stages. Taking it easy on the flat ones and not riding for GC. Question is if he will do it and what he gets paid.

Foss wanted more opportunities and had the Uno-X option but was discarded by them because he asked too much money. He would be a leader there

In QS he still wouldn't have more opportunities (because in the future he would be even behind Van Wilder, at least, in the pecking order) and if they have troubles giving Remco a reinforced contract, they would be better giving more money to Remco than spending it in what Foss is asking, imo.

They tried to get De Plus but he decided to stay at Ineos.

I don't remember where I heard/read it but if I remember correctly De Plus was certainly interested but in the end he wanted to stay loyal to Ineos because they helped him with a lot of patience to get back to his top level and he didn't want to ditch them the moment he finally regained his old form back.

I respect that even though I would have preferred seeing him at SQS.

Landa is the big signing for SQS, Bennett I reckon is cheap after doing nothing at UAE for 2 seasons and being 33. But still SQS should never be in for a 33 year old who hasn't done anything for 2 seasons because he's cheap. And I doubt he's that cheap.

Tobias Foss is probably the #1 rider you should not sign if you're Lefevere. Like, would be so bad that if he were to be announced Remco should be out of the door that same day

well, I look at Remco and I see Hirschi. he could still be in the 2024 SQS jerseys pictures they take at the December training camp and ride for Ineos at the TDUnder

Só UAE just renewed these following cyclists.

Brandon Mcnulty ( 2027)
Rui and Ivo Oliveira (2027)
Marc Soler and Vergard Stake Laengen ( 2025)

So this means they maybe will not renew Michael Vink and Alvaro Hodeg, and also to see what happens with Formolo. If this is true they maybe still have three spots on their roster for 2024

Why? He needs to become more stable, but the top level is pretty good. And with Cavagna out, they could need a rider like that at least if the wage demand isn't too high. He would be far better than Bennett at least.

Meanwhile he demands leadership and an outrageous salary
This would of course be a big problem. I think Foss is not good enough or suited to be a GC captain in one of the better WT team.a Even if he was more stable, he still seems to be completely without any form of acceleration, and that would be a problem in the mountains. If he accepted it, he could on the other hand be a good domestique. But that would of course require a form for most of the seasons on level with last year's WCITT.

His best climbing performance this year was 8 minutes down on Col de la Couiolle in Paris Nice.

I mean, what exactly is the news here? He is out of contract, of course there are no clauses and is free to go where he pleases if he so desires to.
Benson is correcting several long-time reports on Rodriguez. 1) It was asserted with great authority in run-up to the TdF that Carlos to Movistar was "done" (or, at a minimum, he had a pre-contract, which all riders honor because it would be chaos otherwise). 2) When that Movistar pre-contract talk was floated, it was widely mis-reported that INEOS had an opportunity to "buy him out" of his something something. And, as Hell-G noted above, Bora's interest is news. So you are right that this should be a nothing burger, but in fact I find it illuminating, since the June and July reports were quite strong.
