I follow both men and women,s cycling, but I guess the women’s side of things does appeal more to me. Maybe because I as a woman enjoy to see the sport grow, though I guess it is still not fully developed.

Milan Fretin rumoured to join Cofidis.

A typical Cofidis signing if I may say so. We'll see how it works out. They've signed a number B-tier Spanish sprinters from Belgium over the years. Some like Keukeleire had their best years, others like Van Staeyen, Verhelst and Allegaert flattened out a bit.

Fretin is pure sprintwise more talented than all of them together tho.

It's a shame how his career derailed after being called up as a late replacement for the 2019 Giro.
He has had the infamous leg artery issue, a typical injury for cyclists, and he hasn't been the same since. He's still a pretty good climbing domestique, but nowhere near what he could have been if he had fully lived up to his potential.

I actually appreciate him more off the bike, because in interviews he's very clever and often hilarious.

I always wanted to see Oomen and Tao on the same team. They look more like twins than the Yates boys. My dream has come true! (google it if you don't believe me)

I can definitely see what you mean by them looking alike!

Instead of joining Niewiadoma and Skalniak-Sójka, Dominika Włodarczyk is moving to UAE ADQ.

Euskaltel have now lost both Iribar and Soto to Equipo Kern, but even though they do have Oroz, Urtasun and Nieve in their management, I can't really root for the team.

So now Włodarczyk is signed, my next question is if anybody will pick up Olha Kulynych? A lot of teams may have their concerns about young riders coming out of Ukraine and the Eastern European scene like the likes of Hanna Solovey or Olga Shekel, but the results are intriguing enough. She's made some big strides this year and looks like she's pretty good on the climbs.

She was 2nd in this stage from Trofeo Ponente in Rosa ahead of the likes of Sina Frei, Jolanda Neff (who was admittedly in the GC lead and just managing it) and aforementioned Dominika Włodarczyk; in the winning move in Leiedal Koerse, a Belgian one day race including Oude Kwaremont, Knokteberg, Paterberg, Kortekeer and Tiegemberg; won the same Tour de Féminin that got Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig noted, by coming second in a two-up on this stage and this one; she won this stage in the Giro della Toscana ahead of some decent puncheuses and was top 10 on Mont Lozère in the Ardêche.

UAE has signed Biriukova, although only to the devo team for now, and Kulynech has been based in Europe for longer, so I can't see why teams wouldn't take a chance on her. Anastasiya Kolesava also did quite well in Toscana and in Ardèche and could also be on the radar at bigger teams.

Also surely some of the BePink riders, especially Zanardi, must also end up at WWT teams before too long.

If my limited Spanish is correct than Marca has Rodriguez (no Not Carlos, and not Joaquim either but Oscar) joining Ineos.
You're right. They say negotiations are advanced, but not "a done deal". They also hint Movistar refused to sign Foss.

Surprised about it. I could not see him in other team outside the Spanish PCT.

Jayco Alula Women's team should be in the running to sign climber types, seeing they lack depth in this area - yes, they got Garcia but will lose Sansesteban and Faulkner and they have little else.

I am curious how the Social distancing podcast will go with G.Bennett now working with his DS in Sam Bewley.
