Schrettl is the austrian champion u23. This year he won Orlen GP S.Vendemiano Tr. and finished third in the WC behind Finn and Huber.

Jean Delatour had Patrice Halgand who was quite good and also a couple of decent French riders (Laurent Lefevre, Goubert). Not a great team, but decent enough to compete.

RAGT Semences was indeed horrible and possibly the worst team to participate in TdF since 2000.
