Another empty spot at NSN goes to Rotem Tene - but only on from February, after Clarke's retirement:

Normally this means that there should be another announcement to come, as Houle's spot is still available.

GEE-RO LET'S GOOOOOO!!!!!

Dion Smith to NSN, that means that everyone who had a contract at Lotto or Intermarché found a team, and almost all of them a decent or very good team.
Which is more than can be said for Arkea's and Wagner Bazin's final squads, but sadly I don't think many teams will be kicking themselves over losing those signing opportunities.

Not wanting to doubt you over Lotto/ Intermarché, but did Kevin Colleoni choose to retire, or has he just been left unemployed? And does Gerben Kuypers have a new road team to go with his new CX contract? And from the Lotto side, whither Logan Currie and has Van Der Paar conceded defeat to his injuries? (those are the gaps on PCS destination lists)

As well as agreeing with all the riders you name, is it reasonable to believe that six other Intermarche riders all retired by choice.

I think the emphasis was on "who had a contract", so from those 40 or so contracted for 2026, which had to fit into 30 seats. For Colleoni etc this was not the case.

Radim Kijevský (ATT manager) will decide whether he will pull a joker out of his sleeve. The rider who has ridden in two World teams in the past four years is interested in working for the team. And he is not a rider who is heading towards cycling retirement at the age of 26.

Maciejuk to ATT?

The italian team Bardiani Saber buys two Uzbek riders: the national champion Nikita Tsvetkov and the sprinter Sergey Rostovtsev that just switched his nationality previously he was Russian.

I feel like Lidl-Trek went from very focused squad-building, almost Quickstep like ability in classics (minus not having the aliens), to a bit scattergun in the hope of repaying Lidl and becoming the next superteam.

Gee, Ayuso, Skjelmose (maybe even Ciccone) will all expect to be supported in GTs, though none of them can come close to the Tour so to win something there might be a fight for Giro/Vuelta places. Meanwhile they'll also have to cater to Milan and Pedersen for sprints.

In the hilly classics they also have a lot of good, best of the rest type riders - Ciccone, Skjelmose, Simmons, maybe even Ayuso. And that's not to mention the young guns like AWP and Nys. I wonder how/if they'll fit them all in.

A lot of highly promising riders but yes definitely rich potential for things to get very messy with squabbling over workload and hierarchical pecking order.

Yeah likeability of this team also went down the drain in one year for me. Really liked Trek in the past.

With a core of Pedersen, Milan, Skjelmose, Ciccone and up and coming guys like Nys, AWP and Vacek they were doing really nicely. The Gee-West but especially the Ayuso buyout do not really sit that great with me either.
