I don't mind actually :) I really don't want Wiggins to win, but I do want to win this game.
In these kind of games I always try to pick the result I don't want to happen. By doing so, I ensure the result will be satisfying either way :D

LOL. :) I do the same sometimes. I do it by betting a little money now and then.
This year i was betting for the NYG (NFL-Football), a team i really don´t like, and won a good bunch of money. Then i bet 2-0 (+ other bets) for Italy vs. Germany. The money return wasn´t that big, thanks to the ref who gave a penalty in the 94th minute, and our non german shot this fuvking meaningless goal.

It happened to a friend of mine too. But his bet was 100 euros :(
He was on the edge of suicide :D

Jesus, i absolutely can understand. He´d have won 1.000 Euros. I hope (no, i am sure) he hates this turkish guy like i do.

I think he hates that referee a lot more ;)
anyway the turkish guy is only one of your bunch of non germans, why do you dislike him so?

Many of these guys are just terrible. I left Berlin b/c of them. No further explanation needed.
... Yeah, national teams are no more national. It´s a big joke. Just skip the Euro and WC, and instead call the CL the official european championship. BTW, your team didn´t beat germany. That goal scoring guy is obviously not italian. :D

Anyway, i am no racist. Just wanted to explain the joke of so called "national" teams.

I am not doing badly at the moment but my stage picks from now on are dubious and some are already eliminated such as Sanchez. I also have had a lot of eliminations to my GC but of course others have as well so it is a reasonably level playing field in that regard.

It's always been like this... Just look at the '90s France, or Netherlands/Suriname... Or England.
Speaking of Balotelli, I reckon he's more Italian than Klose or Podolsky combined are German.
That said, I don't like the guy (Mario). :D

Geez, you are even worse off than me, by carrying 7 "dead" guys. Better hope (like i do) the T-30 stays somehow intact like it is now...

Yeah France and Netherlands always needed outside help (;)), but not the great teams of the past in italy and germany.

Not much suriname players in Cruyffs team tho

Yeah, those were the best times for your country. Should have sticked to that plan. No spitting and else. :D

PS: nice lead despite the Rabo-Mess. Your other picks must have been perfect then. Congrats... I am too disapointed by Mollema/Gesink/Kruijswijk...

So. Wiggins has eaten the field. I'm sad.
But I wisely gained a whole point!

PS I probly lost a lot of points with the gc! :D

Big jumps by FF Wilco (shooting up the moon from laterne rouge into contention), and by boomcie (welcome back :)).
Froome takes the overall lead, and i thought he finished 2nd and sits 3rd-CG. ;)

I think you mean Wednesday and indeed I have Sanchez to win 2 more stages and Freire to win a stage and Valverde to win tomorow, I am counting on others not really predicting the Sky supremecy in the mountains and finding it hard to predict the transition stages.

The good think is that I think I am too far ahead to end up being eliminated and getting into the Vuelta is my primary objective, also I dont think there will be many changes in GC so everything should be pretty stable though I do believe the 10-20 places may have some significant changes the 1-10 not so much so.

My chances depend to a great extent on Froome - if he cracks at some point I have a great chance of getting the top 4 on GC. Looks highly unlikely though.

You are a little bit greedy here. Do you want to destroy the competition? ;)

This SUCKS for me now, because I saw the provisional. I even though I had Wiggo today, stupid me had Martin.

Well it gets hard, since you already get the extra points for the 1-2 Wiggo-Ev. finish.
