I've gambled on no buhanni victories, just to shake things up a bit :p

You gambled a lot. First Nibali at the TdF (great), then no Horner at Vuelta (that was good), then no Bouhanni (I think that will backfire)...

I Completely forgot about him:eek:

searched for him in the Cofidis team list and thought he wasn't riding.

Great. Honest. Funny. :D
BTW, I like that Sagan triple from stage 3 trou 5...

Only me and digger picking Matthews today for the win in the 4 divisions, not bad.

Sadly I have Sagan for tomorrow and he's in training mode.

Congrats... Great call.

Yeah, training mode. When did I hear that before?... Oh yes, I remember... Rodriguez at the TdF. He almost cost me the whole TdF. Now it´s Sagan. I am pissed. If they train, they should do it at home, and give the roster spot to someone who´d be happy to compete in his job.

Thanks.

Sagan could be the "Cavendish" of this Vuelta, almost everyone had 3 picks on him and we all know what happened, hope I'm wrong at least for tomorrow. :D

Edit - My Pinot pick in top-20

He will. No doubt.

When I heard yesterday the german commentators say that Sagan rides for Gatto , I smelled doom... Then I saw him about to be dropped at a 6th or whatever categorie climb today, it started to stink doom... Todays finish confirmed the doom.

I mean Bouhanni of all managed to stay with the top today (thus it was the stage for Sagan if any). Great work ethic.

LOL. Since I heard him talking of going for KOM, being tired, and else... well, I stood as far as possible away from picking him in my T-20. At least that one worked out for me it seems.

Stat-Attack:
:D

BTW. It´s "error 101" picks all together going to the dustbin. Only Bouhanni (108) and Quintana (102) were picked more times than Sagan (101).
One more in the "100-Club": Degenkolb (100)...

129. SVK SAGAN Peter CAN 03'37"

Edit:

Next to Digger & Hugo scoring a point with Matthews, Josedin sneaked in a 1/2 point with Rodriguez. Congrats too...

Since we have time splits today, I´ll do the longed for first provisionals today. :) A first outlook where we all stand...

well I hope Sagan will at least try tomorrow:eek:

Well to quote Hugo from yesterday,

He can, but Matthews will win anyway.

Was very surprised to see only two had Matthews for the stage win, very happy about that! Now to see if he can double up, that would make me very happy indeed...

Was pretty worried how many stages i was going to waste with Sagan in my picks, then upon inspection i wasted... none! Didnt really plan it that way as i deliberating about him for many many stages. Shocked i didnt pick him at least once.
Same for Pinot. Originally had him sneaking him in the top 20 with Contador, but looks like i pushed him out for Barguil and Niemec. Good on me it seems! Didn't even know about his ambitions, just figured the tour would have to take it out of him for a young fella.

Anyway im off to a flyer! Mainly as i picked very much with my heart for Orica, firstly thought they would maybe top 6 for the TTT, then figured Matthews would be pumped for the Vuelta after missing the tour.

Anyway, im shocked at my standing at this point and felt like i had to say something as it wont last long i think!

Go Greenedge! Yeehaha

Good post Digger...

Yeah, enjoy your day in the sun. :D There might not be many of it, as I found out myself at the TdF (being the division leader for just one day)...

OK, without having Sagan and Pinot it´s also likely for you walking trou this easy, keeping the lead until the end.

I hope so, didn't have him this time but have him for the next 2 stages. Surely he can go 3 in a row

Well I've only got him for 1 stage so I'm not unhappy with that if it happens.

First in division on provisional standings, I'll take it

Welcome back Arredondo:)

I made a riskey pick, I had to pick someone for 5th place instead Horner. It was between Evans, garmin boys,Landa:eek: and Julian A.
I went the fanboy way for Arredondo, but Im not even sure he will aim GC:D
Then I had to replace one more guy on 20th place, and after Horner out Winner was the obvious pick.

I've got a strange feeling he wants to fight for GC. So good choice;)

Winner lost quite some time yesterday. I know he isn't explosive and has difficulties with finishes like this, but still i expected he should be able to finish in the + 7 sec. group.
