A shame Greipel got 3rd. Glad Viviani got me another point.

Caught Fermi and half a point from survival.

Now I just need Matthews to win tomorrow :)

First small loss for me, Modolo got screwed,he would have surely made podium, never mind, onto the next one :)

Also I will probably lose Division lead after all those months on top :D :D

Viviani... great call, 6 have him, nobody has Hofland.
27 half pointers with Greipel. :)
The two Mezgec guys are unlucky with him finishing 4th

Greipel way too passive, perfectly fine with letting Boonen and Mezgec pass. But still a strong sprint so I'm confident for the next stages.

Thanks! At the top in my division right now. I need Lobato to win and Matthews to finish off the podium. That'll suit me well. Matthews must wait till stage 4 to win. :p

I had Lobato (& Mezgec) in mind too. Just wondered if he could master the 12% and 1.100 meters unharmed tomorrow, when/if Sky or Saxo goes full pull at the front. Not that I am much more confident about Matthews surviving, but if one of the sprinters could survive, it´s him.

Not a bad start with 1.5 points gained, hope Matthews can do the business tomorrow for another point. I'm not very confident of my lower end GC picks so a few stage win points will keep me above the bottom 2.

Talking about that: I am already pi..ed after stage 2. Astana came with 6 supporting riders for Aru who could finish T-20. And who is the only one who lost time today? Ofc, Kangert, because I chose him (next to Landa).

Yes that's the problem I found, there isn't much strength in depth GC wise so guys like Landa, Kangert, Konig, Nieve, Kreuziger and Rogers are all capable of top 20'ing here but no idea how hard they will ride once their work is done. Add in Movistar who could have 4 riders in the top 20 an its a minefield!

I was (still) banking on Kangert being the last man standing for Aru. So that he could happen to be in the T-20 by chance. The problem is, could be very well everybody else of the six. Worst would be if it is either Cataldo, Rosa or Tiralongo. Add in a successful 15 mins break for LLSanchez, then I am screwed by losing both, Landa & Kangert.
OTOH if Kangert is again the last guy up there, the 1.09 lost today won´t matter. That is my hope.
Landa I just picked because of his 2nd in Trentino. Because ofc I have no idea what the plan of Astana is for him...

Problem with Kangert is that his form is almost always uncertain because of his constant knee problems.

Anyway, today I gambled on that Greipel will be able to follow, but as I've had a closer look on the stage, I am very doubtful :/

No way Greipel will be there. Will be interesting to see if anyone if anyone has their man in the break.

Well called by the players here. I think the majority had one in the top-3 today even though it wasn't an easy stage to call.

And of course it's 3 out of 3 for me so far :D Bling to win tomorrow as well.

21 guys have him, two with Felline, one with Gilbert. Wil be a lot of hacking away in the keyboard within the next half hour. Later in the evening the much longed for first provisionals will be out. :)

Sole leader in my division now :p

No hurry with the provisionals Foxxy :p (they're quite meaningless at this point anyway though)

Just checked, after three stages I've already caught and distanced the two I need.

You scare me... Just wonder what will happen when you have time to do the TdF picks.

But they are the salt in the soup. A first wink of how things are heading... :)

Now the thing with Pozzo is sad, and hope he´ll be ok soon. But imagine guys, now Betancur comes in. And he looks fit in the Europsport interview I just saw. 5 guys have him in their T-20.

I was really hoping that Lobato would have at least gotten a podium today. I didn't expect anyone to beat Matthews today. I didn't pick him because I needed him for three other stages. Hoping he wins tomorrow again.

I see a lot of people have Matthews for tomorrow. Good :p

Eshnar and me had similar thoughts with il piccolo principe.
