thanks foxy, but the top 20 hasn't really been settled yet so I'm sure there will be big changes when the real mountain stages begin.
Well, this has to be longest droughtFoxxyBrown1111 said:That´s true, the mountains will decide and shake things up a lot...
Tomorrow picks:
Gilbert-13
Ulissi-7
Matthews-5 (certainly too hard for him)
Gerrans-3
Battaglin-2
Slagter-2
Cunego, Lobato (most likely too hard for him, unless he solos off successful before the last hill), Pozzovivo (DNF), Uran each 1
So we have 29 players with a chance to end the scoreless four stages streak.
the sceptic said:apparently the bookmakers think Lobato>Gilbert>Matthews>Ulissi which seems strange. I don't think Gilbert has the legs for this kind of finish right now so will definitely be rooting for the break tomorrow.

When I made my bet on Lobato about 3h ago, it was Ulissi>>Gilbert>Lobato. But still, Gilbert as 2nd favourite is hilarious.

Lobato is the only one who seriously responded to AC attack, yep, it was about 3% lesser slope but still I think he is confident. He said he targeted a stage in 2nd week and I think its this oneFoxxyBrown1111 said:the sceptic said:apparently the bookmakers think Lobato>Gilbert>Matthews>Ulissi which seems strange. ... and I think the finish is too hard for Lobato & Matthews (Gilbert not setting the world on fire anyway as you just said), that leaves us with... Ulissi(if the break doesn´t survive). Congrats to the magnificent seven who picked him upfront 2 weeks ago.
If he indeed wins, the divisions will tighten up even more.
5 of the 7 play "line-ball" on the wrong endwhom thus a point will help greatly (Search, Netserk, Ferminal, Jaylew, PriceySky)
The other two are Flamin & G2F.

I think... err... hope... no, I am sure he meant the "Gavazzi-Stage", and todays. He won the bunch sprint today, I picked him, all good... but for nothing.
The "Gavazzi-Stage" is stage 17. Originally I wanted to pick Gavazzi coz it would have covered almost everything. If it´s a sprint, Gavazzi could sneak into T-3 (assuming that many pure sprinters have given up by then). If it´s a break, chances are ok he´ll make it in there and ofc with great chances to win a "reduced sprint"... but then I decided for Lobato. Simply coz I also think he´s good enough to win one. Couldn´t find better stages than 11 & 17. And if 17 is a sprint, he´d own Gavazzi.
So much the theory. And then everything turns out differently ofc.![]()
I just made h2h Phil vs Lobato @2.7 but pretty big check, and some other h2h's.Flamin said:ILovecycling said:What odds have you had?Flamin said:the sceptic said:apparently the bookmakers think Lobato>Gilbert>Matthews>Ulissi which seems strange.
