Team submitted. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's picks...gc especially.
@Foxxy - 89 riders for a potential gc spot is crazy! Once your gc is done could you share some of the picks that didn't make the cut for you? I'm real curious as to who you deemed potentially worthy.

You see, I have had 89, and you had the luxury of such a short list to only send 19 CG riders. ;)

 I know.
And the bad thing is, I had to think a little before sending you the 20th pick. Of course I could easily pick a 20th rider, it's just I'm torn with who is actually going to make the cut. All that thinking and I could still do horrible. Gotta love it!

I think the toughest Grand Tour for stage picks... sprinters are close imo and so are the climbers. At least with the information available now. Will have another look at it tonight and send it to you Foxxy.

And even more interresting; I wonder if anyone actually has put a rider in their top 20 GC that isn't on Foxxy's 89 riders longlist :D

And to add to that: Still more interesting would be if there will be a rider in the final T-20 that was not on my long short list...
If that happens, I indeed shall consider all circa 200 riders as potential T-20 guys minus the heaviest & tallest ten or so sprinters. ;)

hey foxxy, I will be traveling with very limited internet access until the 2nd or 3rd, can I still get my picks in even if it's after the deadline but before the start of the tour?

Yes sure. You may make a long list now, and with a few drinks at the pool bar, you will come up with some pretty good picks. My recommoondation. :D
So yes, I wait for your picks until 3rd.

Hi Sceptic. How are things in your holidays? Are you "drinking somebody under (the Pool-Bar) table" now? ;) Or on your way back home already? Having internet connections available?
Questions over questions...
It´s Friday 3rd. I still havn´t give up on you... Hurry up now.

Sorry @ Jorik, I really waited long, but then had to make a decision and take a replacement... Anyway, I´ll put up your picks in Division A, page II as "Out-of-Competition" to see how you would have gone.

@ all; Now I finalize the .docs, then the picks will be online in latest 2 hours from now. :)

That one was hefty. I am kaputt. Most difficult ever. I had to do lots of compromises. When I finally reduced my T-89 to 45 (18 "safe" picks + 27 options for the last two CG spots) to further down 26, I could not cut with good reason anymore. So I decided those 6 leaving out go as stage winners (DMartin, and Barguil on the French national holiday; I count on it), had "bad" results pre-TdF (Peraud), is on shitty team (Navarro), has no T-20 yet (Valls), and the most stomach aging: König. I am pretty sure he will be last standing together with Porte. So I cut him simply on a 2-riders-max-per-team-"idea"...
Stages I just spread risks. No one with more than two stages... Hope that works out well in case of injuries.

So if history repeats, Froome wins since most of us have him. Let´s hope that works...

Arredondo came trou with his promise: Leaving out top-four-guns. OK, not really, but he still stunned the competition:
He did not pick Froome. The gamble to win the divison on all-or-nothing... Btw, he also has a rider that was not in my T-89 (I think Vlad asked about it a few days ago). It is Cyril Gautier... All others were.

Foxxy, we have 18 riders in common in the GC! You have Frank and Porte, I have SYates and König.

Leaving out Froome or another big gun is an option, but the problem is you have no guarantee the rider you replace him by will make the top 20. So the chance of losing a point is bigger than winning one.

Ha. Didn´t realize. No we either both go down, or fight for the division.

See above. The answer is no (Gautier wasn´t on my big big radar).
