Being more of a sprinter as well he has perhaps not focused as much on the new trends in in-race feeding as a climber would do.

While he is listed to ride Köln with the devo team, he said after the stage today that his next race will be Norway. 3 of the 4 stages should be within range.

He will indeed ride Köln as he was listed. So I guess he meant his next race with the pro team in the interview.

Don't know anything about the parcours or finish of this race, but seems like a better sprinter field than his wins so far?

Curious about his program in the second half of 2025. He has already done 3 WT stage races (!). Even Evenepoel didnt do that. Anyone any insides? I expect Kooij riding Pologne and Renewi. Guangxi seems like a long shot after starting TDU. So maybe a lighter program?

It's a flat sprint, a little hilly before that. Last year he was on the attack with A.H. Johannessen and Adrià in the finale before finishing 6th in the bunch sprint.

Meeus and Girmay are better, yeah. But I don't know where they stand right now.

Canadian WT one dayers? Quebec finish is well suited to him.

That Köln win - check the way he leans in with his helmet before the big left hander to get Bini's wheel, and then the acceleration when he sees open space. Like a mixture of Cav and Sagan. I still they they'll take him to La Vuelta.
Nah, Vingegaard will be there

Yeah but with his seeking born to race positioning skills he can be sent there simply to freelance without any team support to just surf the wheels of other sprint trains.
Yeah I highly doubt Visma will put together an entire team in service of Vingegaard there. I mean with all due respect, it's the Vuelta.
The field will always be weaker there than at the Tour, so I'm sure they can (and will) spare a place for Brennan.

Even if it’s a Vingegaard vs Pogacar battle Brennan can be deployed tactically to sprint for bonus seconds and take away from Pogacar on the easier of the punchy finishes.

I think so too. That Vingegaard will ride the Vuelta doesn't matter. TDF gets this priority, but not every GT of the season that Vingegaard rides revolves around him.

I don't think so. They're quite careful with their young riders. It almost seems unbelievable but Olav Kooij rode his first GT just last year, in his 4th year as a pro.
