So, here's a bandwagon to jump on, is Brennan the new Cav?
The general view so far from Visma has been that he is not an out and out world class flat course sprinter. May be he is, but he is more versatile than Cav.
Its good that he can win in on varied courses and different situations. Stage one of Catalonia is a classic.
Flat line sprint courses appear not to be on top of the TDF's future agenda, Thierry Gouvenou himself has indicated so.

But is he the new Cav, well he will get the hype, so why not. Makes a change from another new Eddy.

Beating Milan twice in the Deutschland Tour and already 11 pro wins this season

At this point Visma should start thinking about sending Brennan to the Tour next year, even though it will probably be either the Giro or the Vuelta because of Vingegaard.

I'd imagine he'll get Giro leadership. Jonas will be the boss for the Tour, that will be the focus again so can't see him doing the Giro as well, and he'll probs want an option for La Vuelta.

I wonder what offers he's had from other team though? Ineos seem to be linked with every 2nd and 3rd rate GC rider out there, but surely buying Brennan out of his contract, which won't be that much, and giving him the keys, the full train, everything, would make more sense.

Wonder what the plan with him is for next year. If I was the Director of Visma I would include that guy for most races between Omloop and Roubaix.

Would skip Strade and probably E3 and Flanders but other than that I would make have him join every race. Could be a very good addition besides Wout for those classics.
