The Mou is the One and Only Phropet Thread

I was listening to today's Escape Collective Podcast, and they started talking about Mou. I logged on to the forums to see that half the cycling media is as well. I know we get stick talking about Mou and the GOAT in Pogi's thread, so we can have all of that fun here instead!

(apologies if this is in the wrong section of the forum)

In the land of cycling forums, where fans do roam,
There's a user named "mou,"
who calls this place home.
With every post and every thread,
Tadej Pogačar's praises, they do spread.

"The greatest cyclist of all time!" they declare,
No other rider can compare.
Pogačar's pedals, they do spin,
Leaving all competitors in the bin.

Mou's devotion knows no bounds,
Their admiration, it surrounds.
The virtual world, they do command,
With a keyboard as their mighty wand.

Tadej's victories, they do amass
,His speed and skill, unsurpassed.
Mountains, he climbs with ease,
Leaving others to chase in the breeze.

In mou's eyes, Pogačar stands tall,
A cycling god, above them all.
Their fandom, a force to behold,
In the forum's threads, forever told.

So let us raise a virtual toast,
To the cyclist and the fan who boast.
In the world of online cycling lore,
Mou and Pogačar, forevermore!

a nice selection of quotes for the history books

in years to come, cycling historians will be interviewing forum members about our brief time with the prophet, and a new cyclin bible shall be written

If I was a mod, I would seriously consider before making Mou a martyr and unleashing a jihad on the forum. srsly.

Mou being banned tells even more that the peleton will be exploded this year. Haters cant even wait for catalonia.🤔

He may be gone, but his legend will live on forever.

We will meet again @mou

Do we really need a thread dedicated to some sort of a***ole [[deleted content]]

For what it's worth, a lot of what that individual stated was debunked on Reddit. Doesn't mean they don't have inside or knowledge, but not a lot to honor there either
Ummm what? lmao

For those who could not be privy, this is the sort of stuff that dogged him on the forum.

Do we really need a thread dedicated to some sort of a***ole douchebag? I mean, this is a nasty piece of work, with highly divisive and nasty comments to other posters. Did he also not make some pretty terrible innuendo about sexual assault, the type of stuff that really doesn't tend to get tolerated?

I wasn't aware of the latter set of comments; I certainly don't want to condone that - this thread (and my general support of the GOAT and the myth of Mou) is meant in good fun, but I'm certainly not advocating for anyone who can't follow the forums rules to come back.

As someone who grew to be a Pogacar fan and was disappointed by the 2022 and 2023 TdF results I found Mou’s posts a breath of fresh air. Much of what he said I hoped for but never truly believed. Now I am starting to believe after stage 15. Sure Vingo’s crash might have helped but the pure watts per kilo are the best ever seen. Mou said we would see the best ever Pogacar - and that is exactly how it is looking.

On the flip side it’s easy to see why Vingegaard fans would hate Mou.

WTH is a phropet?
A pet with an afro.

Mou, our phunky phropet.

Bow wow wow yippie yo yippie yay, bow wow yippie yo yippie yay.

This is probably the biggest news story to ever come out of this forum, bigger than that time when The Clinic got some juicy doping talk from Vaughters and CN kinda stole our work and turned it into a meh piece
Funny thing is, while he had a very small group of people actually believing him in the start, the rest was basically mocking him Then Strade Bianche happened, and a few more people started to believe and less people mocked him after we were told hed ride in rings around the competition. Then MSR where he was extremely critical of the team and the ONE race he didn't expect him to blow everyone out of the water, and thats exactly what happened. Then all the juicy insights about team dynamics, Matxin, Sola, and the bald fraud San Millán. Then Catalunya with the improved climbing performance and people actually started to believe this guy was onto something. Then he got banned, but some of us still remember what was said about the the Giro which didn't disappoint, and now the climax after Beille

It was a ride, and its kinda cool honestly to have followed this 'live' while it became such a huge story just a couple of months later.
