You're misunderstanding. We follow mou because he provides inside scoops about our favorite rider and the team that surrounds him.
He doesn't provide you inside info.
He is obviously a fanboy who supports the best rider in the last 30 years riding for the best team.
He throws claims of destruction left and right and he is naturally right every other time.
Anyone who claims all the time that the best team/player in any sport will do something ridiculous and will destroy opponents, will be often right and would sound like a prophet.

On top of that, if he was in any way involved with the professional sport, he wouldn't be so disrespectful to fellow riders

But hey, if it suits you to believe that UAE just lets anyone share "inside info" and he knows something we don't, okay. People believe in many things nowadays.

The thing is it wasnt so obvious a year ago. He just had gotten beaten twice by Vingegaard. The most popular consensus was that Vingo was a superior GT rider. A popular consensus was that Pogi was struggling in warm weather, and in high altitude climbs...

And thats when Mou was like. Pogi is going to explode all records this TdF, produce numbers never seem before etc.

A year ago it didnt seem so obvious.

You're not distinguishing between race predictions and inside scoops. He does provide inside scoops. This is off the top of my head:

  • Predicted all of 2024 to a tee.
  • Pogacar's new trainer
  • Pogacar new and improved FTP
  • The races Pogacar will participate in
  • The domestiques that will accompany Pogacar
  • Race tactics
  • Cipressa in under 9 minutes
  • Drama within the team
That 2024 season, everything was co-signed by Bruyneel who said the same thing on the podcast. Like I said this is just off the top of my head. There's a lot more.

Doesn't need to be obvious. The occasional fanboy will always claim that his favourite rider or team will destroy everyone.
And some of them are right, eventually.
Mou's behaviour clearly shows he isn't more than a regular fanboy.

A broken clock is right twice a day as well.

I agree but he wasnt only right about destroying everyone, he was right on putting numbers superior to Pantani (he didnt say Pantani, but he said best climbing perfs ever) etc.

But in hindsight Vingo was already seen as beating or about to beat Pantani numbers so I guess if you expect Pogi to beat Vingo, by default you must expecting him beating Pantani performance numbers...

And we just ignore all the times he was wrong?

As I said, if you really believe that UAE would just let someone throw "inside scoops" and ridicule and disrespect even there own riders, fine.

If you haven't found enough reasons the question Mou's legitimacy, well...there's no reason to carry on with this discussion.
