This will break it open. It really will. Charlie Walsh to Kathy Watt to Stuart O'Grady and so on.

Charlie's angles won't last this one. Once Vinnie speaks they'll know of all of it.

Aussie cycling is in for a very big and long confessional.

Hog, you would make an awful gambler.

Placing a hundred bets and winning one or two, is a very poor success rate.
Of course, the predictions you make around here are free, so fill yer boots.

Or just be Andy1234 & cockblock everyone by saying "no proof" without contributing any value.

You add little Andy1234, very little.

Do yourself a favour

Instead of stating your guesswork as fact, simply begin your comments with" I have no proof, but.."

That way I wont feel the need to point out your lies.

I might add very little, but there is so much less to add when you don't pad every other post with fabrication.

Would you?

I have, albeit in a non-sporting context.

I'm a lawyer, remember - we're constantly put in that sort of position -having awkward knowledge. So much so, there's a whole litany of guidance on how to deal with it.

In our world, the giveaway phrase is "professional difficulties"....

If he reduces the bullsh*t quotient, then, even in a negative way, he has done the site some service...

Think on this, Hog. think how long defenders of Armstrong were able to say, with no hint of a lie, that everyone else was at it, that the peleton was corrupt top to bottom, and therefore it didn't really matter - the 'level playing field' fallacy.

How much longer did it take to pin down LA because we all took the attitude, sure, everyone dopes?

Armstrong was certainly not finally nailed by rumour, or by 'implications', or by join the dots - he was nailed by good old fashioned evidence. If we had relied on the nudge, nudge, wink, wink of the Clinic, he's still be a TdF legend.

We require evidence, facts, concrete detail. all the guessing, alluding and snarking is just a waste of everyone's breath.

If you have info, actual info on Sky or its personnel, Or Berti, Or Aussies, cough it up. In detail. With names, and evidence.

Otherwise it's just so much narcissim.

There is no need to "cough it up" here on the clinic. In reference to the Aussies, there is an ongoing investigation, and talking about it here is not going to help in the long run. The best thing to do is it call the ASADA and tell them directly. They WILL listen and have time for everyone. They are very interested in getting to the bottom of it all. It's going to be interesting.

1000%

My apologies if i suggested otherwise. I just find the Clinic's modus operandi bizarre sometimes.

MV lived in Europe with a training partner, the French trackie in the 80s 90s who went to become a dealer to riders in Nice. Philippe Boyer. http://www.google.com.au/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=Philippe+Boyer
http://www.leparisien.fr/sports/bad...cusations-de-dopage-13-04-2004-2004907431.php

MV will tell you himself, so dont take my word. I could well have my facts wrong.

Like MV said in the interview, you have to pony up when the big boys bring their guns.

Maybe by repute, he was contracted to prepare a Chinese cyclist in China for the 2008 Olympic games.

She failed an EPO test and Vinnicombe was banned by the PRC.

Report in CyclingNews in September 2005.

Of interest in that article is this:

At the time of Liqing's March 25 test Vinnicombe said he was in Australia, or had just returned to China after medical tests at Sydney's Royal North Shore hospital. He had returned to Australia for two weeks after developing high blood pressure and kidney problems and CAT scans showed some suspicious lumps. He and his doctors eventually concluded he was suffering from an overdose of monosodium glutamate.

Paying the piper for his past indiscretions rather than blaming MSG riddled Chinese cuisine?

Good for you Martin. Good for you.

Cyclists and lawyers are peas in a pod.

I spoke to him about that ;) so I got it from the horses mouth (oh sorry, we aint talking about Skippy), but I was polite and never pressed it when he professed to be unaware.

He intimated some things about the "assistance program" in other sports, notably implying the regime high-jumper Liu Xiang was on. It was only on the phone but MV said he was unaware. I was speaking with a query to MA Haijun, a guy who won the 2007 B chrono world champs. If you do a google image search of MA, and there is still the jpeg, or pic from Cyclingnews, there is this ripper of a shot of him from behind on his chrono bike, and his hamstrings are ripped to shreds and muscular like Ulrich. too impressive in visual form (tho that aint hangable evidence)

I am not naive, but I took MV at his word.

How about Denis Cotteral? He trained the girl with buckets for hands. HE may have also trained the SKorean 400/800 man, who think beat Thorpes record previously, won in Beijing. He trained at Waverly in Melbourne, and at Sydney Uni squads.

*sarcasm for Liu Xiang, as originally he was a high jumper before becoming a high-hurdler.

Velodude, MV was also re-admitted to coaching at a sports institute in China a couple of years back.

Sometimes you're really just a big f*ing baby, aren't you?

Go dry your eyes, wee lad.

As I said, this will be big.

Andruska also intensified the pressure on those who would rather guard their secrets, warning: ''You'd want to put your story in before someone else is putting it in for you.''

''We've got a number of people talking to us, absolutely,'' Andruska said. ''It's a range of athletes that are coming and talking to us.''

Calm down dear. Didn't mean to ruffle feather classing lawyers with cyclists. I should have rated them lower
