Here we go again. Anyone who dares counter lies about Lance is guilty of hero worship.

I'll say again for the ninety ninth time. Lance is not my hero. I don't do heros. I don't even think he's currently the best Grand Tour racer. I'm just a defender of truth.

Thanks for dropping in and delivering a cheap shot when you've contributed nothing to the actual discussions going on in this thread.

As far as getting outside? We're having an almost historically bad winter where I am. I'd offer to let you smell my crotch when I'm done shoveling snow, but I'm not that kind of guy. Jerk.

Shoveling snow? Did you say you lived near the bay area and were going to go see some of the ToC stages that would be near your house?

Trolls have trouble keeping track of their lies.

So it's pretty safe to say you are not the 60 year from the Bay Area you previously claimed to be. A so called defender of the truth, but a purveyor of LIES! You have zero credibility--not that you had much before.

No, I didn't say that. It's not real bright to assume that because I said something about going that I must live there.

Find the post where I said I live in the bay area.

You've done pretty good lately with posts my direction that don't go personal. Lets go with that.

Did you take it personal that I proved you wrong on the Johann in the car thing?

I just have your personal message. But since it's personal, I'm not going to broadcast the contents here. Needless to say, the implication was that you live in the Bay Area, but you have not said you currently live the Bay Area. So I over-reached with that comment (with respect to you being a purveyor of lies).

I didn't take anything personal here. It's a cycling forum. I was wrong about the 2007 Tour de France. So he was present as DS in 2 of the 4. Yates and Gallopin were the DS' in the other two races. Perhaps you take it personally that you are proven wrong so you work very hard to recast the original point to fit your narrative. You can see my response to you on this latter point in the COntador 2010 thread.

For a guy who does not live in the Bay Area you sure seem to know the area well

Cool! Empire Grad at Pine flat? Perfect spot. Or along Pine Flat.
Did you read the part where their adding the decent down Kings Mountain Rd? Man! that's the lee side. It's steep and tight. Then up that 8 mile Page Mill Rd section? Then descend back to Coast Highway, then back up Bonny doon/Pine Flat, then descend back into Santa Cruz. I almost don't believe but the article was on the steephill.tv site.

I still imagine the attacts won't come until Bonny Doon Rd.

It would be cool to think I could make it from Page Mill over to where you are by the time they get there but on a good day one might make it back out to 270 and up Higway 9, but trying to make it up 9 on the lee side of the mountains in the least bit of traffic? Not possible.

As far as riding up there? It will be just passed my 60th birthday. I'm 6'2" 220. Never could climb. I like to say, let's throw 80 pounds on Contador's back and see how he climbs.

No Prob climbing buy a compact and pretend that you are riding into a headwind.
If you are a fanatic you can watch climb at Tunitas Creek, watch Page Mill and Bonny Doon empire Grade then drive to Santa Cruz for the after party at the finish.

That's not the case.

I think the reason you have been met with so much animosity in these forums is that you haven't really contributed to many discussions that aren't Lance related. Just an observation.

Thats the problem with all the people who defend Lance like this, they never show the slightest interest in anything else related to cycling. Thats also why CC gets called a troll on a regular basis because he displays the exact same characterisitcs as previous posters who have been banned for trolling.

Then they claim they are being victimised, CC doesnt even know much about Lance and has to google everything to find out the story.

I do know the area very well. I never implied that I live there now, not even in the private message to publicus. I just said I was thinking of going, and since I do know that area VERY well, it makes sense that stage 3 seems like the best place for me to see it.

I've actually posted about as much in the Alberto 2010 thread, which appears to be the second most trafficked thread behind this one, but you are right, I do intend to get bogged down in this thread.

Some people complain that I post too much, but I get quoted so much I end spending all my time in response and don't have much time for other threads.

I just hope he has enough sense to get paid for this. I can't imagine doing it for free. 3 cents a word doesn't sound like much, in the beginning....

They finalized stage 3!!!

It will have lot's of new parts in the Santa Cruz Mountains. It will have the new Kings Mountain Rd decent but not the proposed Page Mill Rd section. Instead they'll come back up on Highway 84 (La Honda rd.) cross Skyline Blvd, descend a bit on 84, but instead of taking that all the way back to the coast it will turn onto Pascadaro Rd which will have another short steep climb before it runs all the way back to the coast steeper and tighter than last years route.

Big change at the finish too. It will come down past UCSC into the west side of Santa Cruz to the beach, turn on W. Cliff Dr to the lighthouse, around to a downhill sweeper before the wharf and the finish at the Beach Boardwalk.

It had better not be a bunch finish.

Exactly right. When I first joined these forums, I didn't understand why so many users got so irritated with trolling, now that I've been here for a few months, I understand how frustrating it can be.

I have seen you posting there, but even that thread has much to do with AC's feud/rivalry with Lance. I just wonder what your intentions are in the forums. Do you really take an interest in other riders, tech, or anything else?

No, you just do his dirty laundry for him on internet sites like this. What a grand mission in life. Your adoptive parents must be wondering why they didn't drop you more times on purpose.

You can't handle the truth. That's why you spend so much time on this internet talking like this...

As opposed to what YOU contribute, Mr. Defender of truth, justice and the American way. Your self-appointed crusade should be taken somewhere in real life where it would do some actual good, if this is your mission. But it's not. You're just a pathetic troll. And as long as the mods let you spew your nonsense, I'll be here to correct you. That's MY self-appointed mission in life.

It snows in the Bay Area? That's news to me. Hold it, you lied about that apparently. The fact that you wear a jockstrap while shoveling snow makes me wonder about your mental state, but I do find it hilarious.

Keep 'em coming, big boy-I'll be waiting with a snooty retort.

publicus. 23 of the last 25 in those this or Contador 2010.
RR 14 of 25

You. 14 of 25 in the same 2 or other with armstrong in the title.

I'm not the one who keeps opening new Lance threads and I never turn other threads into Lance discussions unless it's response to something someone else started. I very very rarely throw something out there just to get a reaction, which I thought was the definition of trolling. (i did that today on the politics side but that's different in my book) 2 days ago hog and rr engaged in obvious trolling here about Livestrong quarterly. "stroke material for groupies" he said. Vicious hurtful stuff. He drops in frequently to drop a few insults and go. I didn't hear you complaining.

I do have interests in other racers and as the season gets into the more interesting racing I'll be looking at those threads.

You are like a child my friend. Called on the carpet, you try to shift the blame/justify your behavior by pointing to others. Own your actions.

If you bothered to read a few posts before you bomb the place you'd have seen this was addressed.

If you think I live there just because I show a knowledge of the area, you're not the brightest bulb on the tree. But I knew that already. If you are someone who has been stuck in the same area their entire life it might be interesting for you to find that it's not that way for some people.

You are way too into me.

We don't really need to compare who posted where. I was just stating an observation. I know many of my posts are on Armstrong, but just as many, if not more, are not about him. I actually prefer that.

I can understand your offense to the "stroke material" comment. I think I overlooked that comment until now, but I would take offense too.

If you take an interest in other racers then talk about them. I've learned so much from reading comments about other riders; people I would never hear about otherwise. It gives me something new to look out for while watching the races. Cycling is so international, just as the forum, so take advantage of what other folks are saying. If they're combative like Berzin's comments, just ignore em. That sh!t is pointless; a total of waste of time. That's a lesson I've learned the hard way, now I keep my *** out of the clinic
