Rapha is just not hipster enough for me. I mean the stuff they make world never go wit a lip ring or a neck tat. And they front geared bikes wtf

Maybe someone can help. Which version better strikes the balance between comfort and being ethically sound - the rapha leather gloves or the crochet version which is a bit more retro? I did have some assos gloves but they just fell apart (albeit after a long life).

Rapha Imperial Works

Can anyone give me the lowdown on the Rapha Imperial Works collection? Someone sent me a link to a jersey but I can't access the site as it is "by invitation only."

AFAIK you'll have to shell out in the region of £1k+ through the site in a single fiscal year to be invited.

Either that or have your bros follow you around taking black and white photos of you looking like a smug a-hole while not wearing a helmet.

I believe that IS the other way to gain access....

Repair Service Policy

Rapha offers a free repair service where a crash or accident has damaged a garment or a failure has occurred even after significant usage.

This service also applies to garments outside the 90 day return policy, and where the damage is not due to manufacturing faults.

I read this and still can't believe it, they way I read this and understand it if I I was to buy a couple of pairs of bib knicks they should last me for the rest of my life ? If that's right, well it's the best purchase I could make just imagine never needing to buy another pair of knicks.I wonder just how far they would stand behind this statement?

There is no such thing as a "fat" hipster. All males of this particular species that I've seen usually weigh no more than 140 soaking wet in irony.

You have to account for the thirty-five year old and over wouldbe hipsters and their faster backwards bikes. The real hipsters don't have the kind of money to take Rapha where it wants to go. The trick is to convince middle aged tubbys that although they sit behind a desk for fifty hours a week, on the weekends they can put on a $1000 cycling costume and recapture the vibrant style that is in vogue with the youth.

It's sort of like seeing a thirty year old at a high school party.
