In the Olympic year that come after Covid season, US Open is like a Vuelta even more than it usually was. Everyone has questionable form, even Djokovic, he's just better than everyone.
For the ladies, every GS is a Vuelta.

Djokovic, Zverev and Medvedev are the three best HC players in the world right now tbh.

If anything Wimbledon was the wet fart draw

I don’t see anything in Medvedev’s game right now that can really trouble Djokovic. I watched the semi against Auger-Aliassime and that wasn’t a very good match. The Canadian couldn’t do much. He should be happy he scraped through the first round. I can see why he’s 0-8 in career finals.

At least the NY crowd had the opportunity to witness the Grand Slam attempt.
Unlike the Federer - Nadal classic.
... Suppose a piece of greatness has to be left for the coming generations too.

Should've played the mixed doubles for the bronze.

Hello strawman my old friend.

You literally wrote Djokovic beat himself... And previously you have said that Medvedev doesn't have anything that could trouble Djokovic in Grand Slams. For example, I was naïve when thinking that Medvedev would beat him in the AO final. He didn't and played badly but you took it as confirmation that you were right. Now, he played well (and Djokovic didn't) but then it's portrayed as if it's only Djokovic' doing that he didn't win the game. At least that's how I read your post.
