Karatsev is a top 10 player when he plays well.
Yes, but that's not really the crazy part about that fact...
Sad time but get to look at the newer generation in the Grand Slams and a new winner of RG.Nadal out of RG, won't play this year most likely. Will retire after 2024.
Sad times as a tennis fan.
Because of their names Holger Rune and Rune Herregods appear to be causing some humorous mentions in the Dauphine thread (I will never not think of tennis now whenever Herregodts appears on my screenI'm surprised this thread isn't more active. Or, has everyone just decided to take the tennis talk... everywhere else?

Holger Rune has a strange match. First, he continues to not make any fans by not acknowledging a double bounce, then he screams in Danish "I can't do it anymore! I have nothing left in the legs!". Then he wins his service game through serve and volley exclusively. Then he breaks and wins the set.
I don't think Cerúndolo is doing as well as he should.
I don't think Rune will win this...Never liked Rune. Guy’s a brat. Unfortunately Cerundolo hasn’t cashed in as well as he should have and will likely lose now.
Tsitsi is so overrated. This dude wouldn't be top10, 10 years ago. I can't see where he really exceed as a player. Not a great server, not a good volley player, even his forehand (his main weapon) is not that great. Alcaraz, on the other hand, will dominate tennis, even If I think he is two tiers (at least) below prime Roger/Nole/Nadal
At least you were prepared. Meanwhile Holger Rune is looking… not good today.I honestly just haven't been feeling the tennis.
But I am ready tonight for my Grigor Dimitrov fandom to once again hurt me.
If you read stuff from tennis forums, Tsitsipas isn't rated so highly anymore. Also top 10 is somewhat of a lowish bar because the bottom of the top 10 has always had some underwhelming players on paper.Tsitsi is so overrated. This dude wouldn't be top10, 10 years ago.
