It definitely doesn't look like Nadal's classical spring injury after which he's like this at RG:

I'm surprised this thread isn't more active. Or, has everyone just decided to take the tennis talk... everywhere else?
Because of their names Holger Rune and Rune Herregods appear to be causing some humorous mentions in the Dauphine thread (I will never not think of tennis now whenever Herregodts appears on my screen :tearsofjoy:), but otherwise I'm pretty surprised as well this thread isn't more active.

I know Nadal isn't there, but we're in the middle of the French Open, surely there are other players and/or matches worth talking about?

Not to mention RR's detailed explanation how each of the "Big Six" (or how many it is these days...) corresponds with a tennis player.
There's also the weird fact that GCN+ apparently shows tennis...

Holger Rune has a strange match. First, he continues to not make any fans by not acknowledging a double bounce, then he screams in Danish "I can't do it anymore! I have nothing left in the legs!". Then he wins his service game through serve and volley exclusively. Then he breaks and wins the set.

I don't think Cerúndolo is doing as well as he should.

Never liked Rune. Guy’s a brat. Unfortunately Cerundolo hasn’t cashed in as well as he should have and will likely lose now.

The top half is loaded and the bottom half is meh. Whoever wins the Djoković Alcaraz semi will win the title. Medvedev lost in the 1st round and that already opened things up in the bottom part. I don’t think he was going to win here, but considering the draw he should have made it to the QF. Ruud will likely get to the final again.

On the women’s side I hope Sabalenka wins.

Tsitsi is so overrated. This dude wouldn't be top10, 10 years ago. I can't see where he really exceed as a player. Not a great server, not a good volley player, even his forehand (his main weapon) is not that great. Alcaraz, on the other hand, will dominate tennis, even If I think he is two tiers (at least) below prime Roger/Nole/Nadal

Why would you think that?

If you read stuff from tennis forums, Tsitsipas isn't rated so highly anymore. Also top 10 is somewhat of a lowish bar because the bottom of the top 10 has always had some underwhelming players on paper.
