Hasn't RBH already laid out the plan for the season? Why are people talking about Roglic to the Tour? Is there some evidence that the team is putting up a smokescreen?

Did he win the WC ITT that year? And was he using that Vuelta as a build up or was it his main goal?
Did he win the WCRR after the Vuelta? Was the WCRR a main goal?
Was the Vuelta a main goal?
Had he time to recon the ITT?

I think anyone that has a shot winning it doesn't need to hold back if the race is considered prep for WC. Remco would know soon enough in the cruel last week to back off if that were the case.

I agree that better to switch to Remco and/vs Lipo discussion in terms of the Tour 2026. As for the Tour 2027 and if all mentioned riders will still ride for RBH and considering the outcome in stage racing in terms of the 2026 season. Then we might involve Rogla again in such discussions, as maybe that will start to make sense. In terms of 2026 attempt the offer on an altar was too little, rather offending. We'll see.

Don't worry, you will involve Rogla in the 2032 Tour.😆

Wasn't Remco the one who won WC after the Vuelta, as we're consistently reminded on this forum?

I remember when Frank VDB was the big favourite for WC, and he rode the Vuelta as prep. At that time he truly was the best rider in the world (imo-albeit with brackets-blonde haor and all that) and further proved it by finishing third despite crashing early and breaking his wrists.

It's been long thought that Vuelta was perfect prep for WC, depending on you actually riding the vuelta as prep, not to win it. For the same reason that people who come out of the Tdf are believed to have a leg up in San Sebastian. Wether that is still true in this day and age is a different matter.
