I don't understand how Remco's big goal (WC/Lombardia) is an acceptable excuse if he doesn't want to be a dom for Roglic but Roglic's Vuelta isn't
Because I think you can combine TDF with Vuelta. Roglic doesn't need to be 100% at TDF, that's not what I've been saying. A Roglic at 100% without any issues might even be better than Lipowitz, so it would be absurd to think he should be a domestique for him. I think Roglic can ride TDF as a build up for Vuelta and go for stages as well as help leaders where necessary.

Roglic is too prone to accidents and TDF's hectic first week is crash central. Assuming he's just focused on checking as many boxes as he can while the legs are still decent I'd avoid the Tour too.

Remco also doesn't need to be 100% in the Vuelta to help Roglic

Hasn't RBH already laid out the plan for the season? Why are people talking about Roglic to the Tour? Is there some evidence that the team is putting up a smokescreen?
