Bro, you know damn well that had nothing to do with Roglic. Please....He apparently cared enough to have his teammates ride like savages in the rain to close Rog down.
Serves him right that that Arensman won the stage.

You know, when it's deemed mou's brigade doesn't represent Pog's fanbase I think we can also lay off categorizing the moms for Rogla social media bunch as representative of Rog fans. Don't you think?
I like Lipowitz for what it's worth and I think he did really well to secure his first TdF podium.
You just made it sound like UAE mowed him down because he's Roglic. It was obvious from the first km that UAE wanted this race. And what is UAE gonna do tomorrow anyways? Of course they are gonna gonna try..Who cares? When the leader puts his team to work over a couple of cols and in the valley to chase down a breakaway rider and then he loses the stage anyway - especially versus a weaker climber like Arensman - it's funny!
A real tactical muck up to finish the Tour's mountain stages on a high note.
yes, I was just being funny. dear me those mums should behave like Rogla, take it easy, breath, smile and go on with life. what were they hoping for, for him to get the podium?

Pog will be initially disappointed, but who cares. At least Jonas didn't win.
I think it had more to do with being in the attack the whole day, specifically for that stage win. He was in the attack for +50km's, big part of it alone too. I think he was also drained eventually, which makes complete sense after such a day on top of yesterday's efforts.Because he let it slide.
If anyone actually legitimately thinks Rog went all-in at the end to protect 5th in GC, I don't know what to say.
Good rider is a bit of an understatement.Sure he is a good rider and will bring some wins.
If he delivers and shows he is the best, others will fall in line on the team.Good rider is a bit of an understatement.
Palmares wise he's miles ahead anyone not called Roglic in the team.
Apart from the TdF (which shouldn't necessarily be a goal for Lipowitz next year since he looks like a possible Giro winner, but ok), in what other races do you envision leadership issues? If he delivers and shows he is the best, others will fall in line on the team.
Problems arise if one is not much better than others but still has demands... thats when personalities and egos could potentially clash.
I think TrekCyclist just brought up a good point about team chemistry and dynamics. His situation at Soudal has been undisputed leadership and feeling at home since the beginning.Apart from the TdF (which shouldn't necessarily be a goal for Lipowitz next year since he looks like a possible Giro winner, but ok), in what other races do you envision leadership issues?
One week stage races? I guess there's room for everybody and it's not like they are main goals for anybody, maybe Tour de Suisse for Roglic.
Classics? Remco gives you a shot at the win / podium in LBL, Lombardia, AGR, San Sebastian...
Red Bull's most recent wins in one day races are the Copenhagen Sprint in 2025 and the GP Wallonie in 2024. That's it for the past 2 seasons.
If Evenepoel joins RBH, Lipowitz should leave. He's good enough to get sole leadership at the Tour, which he's never going to get in a team with Remco.
I certainly don't know. But if it's a question of 2025 or 2026, I don't really think it matters. You could send Lipowitz to the Giro and Vuelta next year, for instance, the only problem with that would be the German media.problems is, do we know until when Lipowitz signed? procyclingstats has him until 2025 (but we know Bora doesnt give much details)
Do RB really care that much about the German media?I certainly don't know. But if it's a question of 2025 or 2026, I don't really think it matters. You could send Lipowitz to the Giro and Vuelta next year, for instance, the only problem with that would be the German media.
Yes. But also they care about having goodm GC riders and remco alone won't cut it so they need Lipo and Pelizarrio to have someones for the podium in all three GTs. Hindley and Vlasov are done. Martinez never that good just lucky with that one Giro.Do RB really care that much about the German media?
Aren’t you just going to give him what a MVDP would earn? 4-5M?I see one big problem with signing Evenepoel and that's if you explicitly sign him with the sole aim of winning the Tour de France. Because he's as good as he is outside of GTs, you have to pay him an outsized amount for what he's previously delivered in the Tour.

I see Roglic more as a signing to put yourself on the map rather than outright winning the Tour. Also he's a demanding rider that behind the scenes will raise the standards of training, staff, etc.I dont get why u sign Remco to win the tour, thats one of the races he is least likely to win.. bring him in to win a ton of classics and whatever else comes his way. They already signed Roglic to win the TDF, didnt they, already then i thought that this was beyond unrealistic, Bring him in to win more than anyone else on the team but the TDF against Vingegaard and Pogacar....
I don't think a team should adopt a defeatist mindset like thatI dont get why u sign Remco to win the tour, thats one of the races he is least likely to win.. bring him in to win a ton of classics and whatever else comes his way. So who should they sign to win the TDF?
