Yeah. I agree. Too bad Evenepoel's career is already over at the age of 24. You have to agree, making such claims about a rider who won the Vuelta at 22 years of age, is laughable at best.I don't think the number of times you win Tour of Belgium and Volta ao Algarve is what makes a great stage racer (Tony Martin has won 10 stage races).
A Vuelta win is of course better than finishing twice second in the Tour, yet it can still be argued that 6 GT podiums (in a row!) including a silver double like Dumoulin, is a more solid record for a stage racer than only a singular GT top-10 finish (which was the Vuelta victory, so less impressive than the record of Geoghegan Hart whose singular GT top-10 was a Giro victory).
