Never been this not salty after an Evenepoel win, not gonna lie guys
I have trouble turning over a 52!! Remco riding a 60 tooth chainring!!the guy is an absolute monster.. A human spark plug, and he was up and out of the saddle after every corner to get back on it..his cadence was breathtaking!! Guy rides a bike like he is being chased by people trying to kill him. The race organizers have it down because if they had 30 second splits that race would have been way, way, way better!! My only beef is no Ganna.they should close up the splits so riders see each other and get passed..!!

Actually Cassani said on Rai that Remco was riding with a 62, it was all the other GC rider that were using "only" 60.

Great TT by Evenepoel. It’ll be great if he can keep it together in the mountains with Pogacar and Vingegaard possibly fading from the Giro and crash.
Remco was incredible. Such a shame that the organisers did not put a 10-15k longer flat TT. He was absolutely hammering them on the flat roads. What surprised me is that he gained time in the hill on everyone👍He’s still missing some skill in the technical department though, as he lost 2-3 seconds to Poga in the starting city, and probably 5-6 seconds on the downhill. He would have put over a minute on Pog on a 40k flat TT. Is it only me that see signs of fading from Vinge? Remco is closing in on top form, my bet is that Vinge will slowly crack and its possible for Remco to challenge for second place here😉

He gained less than 10 seconds to Pogacar on flat roads... sometimes I don't know why some people write some things without even taking a look to the actual gaps... Pogacar lost 3 seconds in the first time check and lost 6 seconds after the third time check. He gained almost 8 seconds on the climb and lost almost 5 seconds on the descent. Simple right? How did he hammered Pogacar in 18 km of flat roads when he only gained 10 seconds?
In relative sense. Had Remco not lost around 10-12 secs due to cornering and descending he would have won by 23-25 secs or roughly 1 sec per km. If it has been a 40-50 km TT we could have seen possibly 50 secs to a minute gained. But thats's with a perfect technical run. So on the flats Remco was significantly faster.

This is not Zwift, this is road racing. Cornering is part of the game.

Ok, maybe i was a bit overenthusiastic😅 But, you have to remember that he lost 5-10 seconds on the flat run in(time and flow) in this «fake» puncture/jumping back wheel situation and still Pog lost time the last 4-5k..I am still quite sure that Pog would have lost around 1,5-2s per k on a flat TT to Remco!
