don't get me wrong -- he looks fine, but in comparison to the present GC competitor it is a very different body type.

After the Tour last season they were spitballing on how he could improve. One of the things was they think he might be able to lose another 1-1.5kg. I hope at Dauphine he’s at his TDF 2024 weight already, and use the weeks after to lose those last 1-1.5kg’s. Would be ridiculous if he’s still at similar weight as in Romandie.

he's 1,5 kg lighter than last year a the same period.
So basically the weight he had at the TDF '24. Wonder if they plan to lose some more weight, or keep it at this level. Because after the TDF last year Evenepoel said he might be able to lose another kilo, but in this interview his performance trainer said:
He is 1.5 kilos lighter than last year at this time of year. Back then he still had to lose weight after the Dauphiné, while this year it has been much more gradual. And when you have to lose a lot of weight in a short period, it always takes its toll on strength, recovery or even both.

in HLN "Daarmee zit hij al dicht bij zijn ideale Tourgewicht" 'close to' doesn't mean 'equal to' i guess
