We're looking at what parcours would be perfect for Remco. Not wether he actually beats Vingegaard or Pogacar. that's irrelevant. What's relevant is what parcours suits him best and he has the most chance on. Which parcours gives him the most fighting chance. So stop bringing Pogacar and Vingegaard in here if it's only to say, he'll still lose. It won't bring anything of value to the discussion. Unless it's to add which kinda mountain stage he's least likely to lose to much time on his rivals, and will therefore be able to possible negate that time loss through TT.
Sure it's unlikely given Pogacar & Vingegaard dominance in the mountains and that they're also good at TT.
The question should only be about:
- What parcours suit Remco the most
- What parcours has Remco the biggest chance of being competitive.
Not He will lose no matter what. I've heard that song a thousand time before. And it's most likely true.
I'm curious about what gives remco a fighting chance. Not the thousand repeat line of pogacar and Vingegaard will be stronger regardless. that should not be the focus. Cause that horse has been beat to death.
Though admittedly the point is moot. Lots of GT races will be designed with vingegaard and Pogacar in mind, unless Remco proves he can hang with the 2. Which he hasn't done yet. Remco is the best of the rest. But he's not that far ahead of others in a GT setting in my opinion. Not with all the setbacks, and other riders improving.
or designed for Seixas depending on how fast his progress is, in case of the tour & vuelta
Edit: I'm aware i ain't a moderator, and i'm not the one who decides what is posted here. That people can post whatever they want so long as it don't break the rules, I'm just saying i'm personally tired of posters and there repeat lines that imo don't add anything of value. I have decided torefrain from making this evident as much as possible from here on out (after this post). By Putting people on ignore. That way i can just avoid the same stuff on repeat. I'll probably also post less here, and visit less. The people that dislike remco and post here all the time have become to predictable. With nothing interesting to add from my perspective.
In any case, i think an atypical tour might suit remco. Big mountain stages during first week. TT + rolling and flat terrain second week. Not to steep mountain stage at the end. In a way a bit like the Vuelta he won. I still think Remco is at it's best during the first and last week. But fades a bit in comparison to others during the second week. No data to back this up. Just my gut feeling.
