Same could be said about if he only focused on 1 day races. Podcast I was listening thinks he would've already won 5 monuments by now

Apparently Almeida cannot climb and should not be considered a GT rider.

Agreed, however, and I'm not saying this to be irrationally contrary, but he just has to focus on performance and liberate himself from all the expections he and others have placed on himself. Only then will he achieve what nature and fate has in the cards. Liberate the mind will set you free and ad astra.

We agree 100% on this. Your post doesn't seem contrary at all, rather it makes complete sense.
