I will add "can't see the future" to the long list of things I intend to ridicule him forWhy the f is Remco wasting his time getting beaten in a TT this late in the season. Talk about stupid.

They are two completely different events. It's clear Remco didn't have the same form as Worlds, where he beat a certain Ganna who said his numbers were tops and who holds the hour record. Please, enough with the nonesense.I stated before that Remco (or anyother rider, for that matter) winning the RWC TT did not make him the best TTer of the world.
So now he got beat by the newkidmonster in town. It doesn't mean he did not deserve the RWC TT title, but certainly adds perspective.
If he had won, would it have been "Great to see Remco beating top class opposition in the ITT, so late in the season, what a guy!"?Why the f is Remco wasting his time getting beaten in a TT this late in the season. Talk about stupid.
Yes, but the same can be said for many TTers. They were not there or were but not with the best numbers. They are two completely different events. The most important ITT of the year is always in the Tour.I stated before that Remco (or anyother rider, for that matter) winning the RWC TT did not make him the best TTer of the world.

I understand. But I think the analysis is also relevant for assessing and apreciating Remco in objective terms.Could you all please take this silly, now multi-page argument about the Tour, Velo D'Or, and who is the strongest to...I don't know...a thread where that was the topic? I'm sure I'm not the only one who would appreciate it.
After RVV, MVDP and other stated that Pogi could win all monuments. So if you don't mind I take their word over yours. In the Tour of Flanders, and barely. It’s not like Pogacar is winning Roubaix
If Remco hasn't been mentioned in 2 pages I think it's safe to say the topic isn't Remco. Start a new thread about who's the strongest and include all the riders you want.I understand. But I think the analysis is also relevant for assessing and apreciating Remco in objective terms.
I didn't say the topic was about Remco, I stated it is and was relevant to assess any big engines like Remco that do not necessarily win GTs (for the moment or not, that was not the question). If Remco hasn't been mentioned in 2 pages I think it's safe to say the topic isn't Remco. Start a new thread about who's the strongest and include all the riders you want.

Sure, let's see if he's able to win Roubaix in his career. After RVV, MVDP and other stated that Pogi could win all monuments. So if you don't mind I take their word over yours.
You're confusing. WVA is perfectly capable of winning Paris-Roubaix but that of course doesn't mean he will.Sure, let's see if he's able to win Roubaix in his career.
Reality is that Pogacar, a two time Tour de France winner and five time monument winner is far above (aka the way bigger freak), then just a two time Tour de France winner. You're only as good as you're last Grand Bouclé baby. When MVP can challenge for the Tour, then we can talk. Overall means climbing and TT power and, most importantly, you are not allowed to have a bad day in three weeks. The classics riders are children in comparison. I think it's fairly clear that being exceptionally good on one day, isn't the same as being capable of winning a three week bike race. The biggest freak is thus the Tour winner, because it's the biggest bicycle race in the world, but this is history, so I don't need to explain that. So if folks want to insist Pogacar is the biggest freak out there, when he gets his teeth kicked out at the Tour by Vingegaard, go ahead, but then there is reality.
WCTT is the one TT for which, like the Tour, everybody plans meticulously to be in the best possible condition. No excuses. Remco did so, fatally at the expense of his Vuelta prep. So, no, the same can't be said for today's event, which was an afterthought and frankly should never have been contested.Yes, but the same can be said for many TTers. They were not there or were but not with the best numbers.
I recommend also a bit more humility regarding who's writing nonsense.

You are dreaming. And it's a bad dream, wake up!Hogwash! You are dreaming man. This would be true only if Pogacar didn't get whooped by Vingegaard twice or MVDP could actually climb.
..........Would be nice of people could go back to the topic of the thread.
Vinge? There were times when the best TdF men basically ended their season at the end of July, or in August
Remco idem! Brought my cancelled comment into the context of this thread, but let the censors have their day!..........
Remco has yet even to ride the Tour, whereas Vinge was denied a chance to win the Vuelta.Vinge?
