Yeah junior races aren't giving any new information anymore.

True. It is pretty clearly established that this kid is in a league of his own as a junior right now. Whether he hammers everyone once more or a hundred times more, nothing really changes. The sooner he is up against espoirs with a few years advantage the better.
Yeah. I guess the team he goes to next year rides 2.2 races?

His time to win the Belgian TT Championships was also faster than the fastest time at the Espoirs. Same course of course.

He will ride the Tour of California and Tour of Utah next year.

He has a lot of adoration for Contador, a climber with a good TT (that's what he wants to become).

Obviously. The article a few pages back also mentions it. He rode a smaller gear and was 8 seconds faster.

It's also the first time i've known Merckx to be this interested in a young rider (that wasn't his son). It might have something to do with the fact that he (Merckx) is an Anderlecht supporter, and Evenepoel is an ex-Anderlecht youth, but still.

Yes, he was 8 seconds faster (43 km/h was his average speed over a difficult course of 27.4 KM)

Faster than Froome at age 26.

Those seem like great races to be the big calendar points for a great talent of his age.
