Maybe he should better ride without power meter or at least without checking it? You can do more mentally if you don't anchor yourself to a number. What he definitely does need is better ear phones!
He was cooked anyway. So let me get this straight
1. Jumbo pace all day to bring back the breakaway
2. They catch the final breakaway riders halfway the climb and then they catch nobody else and they can see literally nobody else
3. Nobody tells Evenepoel in the final 4km they're sprinting for the win
4. Evenepoel doesn't know, so he decides he doesn't sprint for the win.
5. Roglic comes the long way around at 175 meters, and he still decides it's not for the win?
My favorite one is actually that Evenepoel actually has a big habit of sprinting for minor places in stages or making at least sure he's 1st across the line. Meanwhile, Roglic tends to do the absolute opposite.

He had a blocked neck, headache and pain in the hip. Today he was painless and in total control.Am I the only one thinking that the Jumbo lot are playing with this lad. Letting him lead them to the big mountains before they go in for the kill. Like a lamb to the slaughter. Poor lad, poor poor lad.
He may need some good luck then. I wish him all the best.He had a blocked neck, headache and pain in the hip. Today he was painless and in total control.
I’m still doubtful if he can do well in high mountains, but if he wants to win this, he has to do well there.
If he does well, he’s in a good place as he has the tt coming up.
This gut riding is the actual trump card that riders have. Pogi used it to win 2020 TDf and Jonas used it to win the TT 2023 TDF and now Remco. It is the secret technique that puts the Ineos marginal gains to shame.Maybe he should better ride without power meter or at least without checking it? I guess all the press are haters too. No one loves your boy poor thing.Press headline has “Remco rages at missed opportunity…”
I guess that’s all the haters read as it confirms their bias. He absolutely did not “rage”. Lol!

That's the point. They would attack anyway if they could. Everyone knew he fell so there's no need for saying it again save for PR reasons. Announcing that he's suffering is hence either damage control - if Remco failed to perform - or enhancing how he performed well despite his crash related injuries.Because if you announce it after the fall your opponents will use that information to gain more time
Ya, I don't know what to say about headlines other than the clickbait is getting tedious. I mean, he sounded mainly disappointed in himself (I think he said he felt a bit stupid), which is really not raging. But again, he is marquee and is making Dumbo-Jizma look very vanilla.Press headline has “Remco rages at missed opportunity…”

I really don’t think so. You think Ving and Roglic would fold up their wings and stop attacking?Best scenario would be for Remco to put time into Vingo and Rog in the ITT while ending up 10-20 seconds down on Kuss.
JV would then be paralyzed.
I think he means that their plan, whatever it is, may need adaption. They cannot support three leaders anymore. The question will be: who has the best chance to succeed? That may cause some stress and difficult decisions. My guess is they will still stick to the initial plan and only decide when Roglic or Vingegaard shows to be clearly better than the other.I really don’t think so. Kuss rides dom, and Roglic and Vingo attack Remco. Kuss has no distorted dreams of winning this bike race.Well. At least it could hold them at bay for a few stages. Imagine a scenario with Kuss in red, Remco at 20 secs and Rog/Vingo at 50-60 secs. What do they do?
I would guess Roglic & Vingegaard keep attacking and Kuss sits on Remco’s wheel. Regardless, I think it will be fun to watch and see how it unfolds!Well.
