His Vuelta is a success. His strategic collapse setup the Jumbo Visma debacle and except for Kuss no one is happy
I totally agree, he totally did it on purpose, Remco just oozes gorila like Rui Costa tactical acumen. His Vuelta is a success. His strategic collapse setup the Jumbo Visma debacle and except for Kuss no one is happy
Which is why he was pointing to his head repeatedly today while winning the stage😁I totally agree, he totally did it on purpose, Remco just oozes gorila like Rui Costa tactical acumen.
He was reminding us that he was smart enough to figure out that he could go in the break because no one else in the race cares that he is still there.Which is why he was pointing to his head repeatedly today while winning the stage😁
But first he neutralized stage 2 not allowing Roglic to sprint for the win and assert his dominance in the team as alpha while Jonas was weak. It's pretty clear that El Patron decided this race (as it should be) with his comment about getting rid of the red jersey. Then JV attacked with Kuss and the rest is history...
That‘s supposed to be an O? Looks like he‘s eating an invisible burger.I'm really positively surprised by Remco and how he came from adversity. A lot of GC guys would have a bad day liek that and call it quits. But he regrouped quickly and has now won 3 stages, mountains jersey, and maybe there is more to come. Hats off, he really is a people's racer.

Aru won a GT, never showed anything since.Man who won a grand tour is apparently not grand tour material . OK man
Aru was actually leading the tour for 2 weeks and ended up 5th in 2017.Aru won a GT, never showed anything since.
Considering GT wins, Poulidor won one Vuelta and one monument in his career. So Remco is in Good company.Aru won a GT, never showed anything since.
"Giving up", or whatever you wanna call it, was clearly the best option at that point. So unbreakable that he gave up on Spandelles. And haven't dared a direct match against the best on the climbs since.
He makes himself hard to like, no matter how talented he is on the bike. That statement is just dilusional. So unbreakable that he gave up on Spandelles. And haven't dared a direct match against the best on the climbs since.

The hubris in Bambi is over the edge. Get to know yourself better.
Remco the new Kiryienka. They are both great rouleurs, great breakaway riders and fantastic TT riders. It's official, Remco > Kiryienka
They beat the unbreakable by some 20 minutes."Giving up", or whatever you wanna call it, was clearly the best option at that point.
Chances are he will head home with 4 stages and KOM. Look at riders like Mas, Ayuso and Landa, what have they done exactly? Im a fan of all of them, but come on, aint nobody will remember their races. I'd much, much be in Remco's shoes.
