Trying to figure out if it's just trolling, attempts at humor, or people really are just this ignorant about cycling. Guess it doesn't matter...

Do you really expect a useful response when putting forth an absurd straw man?is eddy merckx ignorant about cycling?
I'm not convinced on the move, which should have been to Ineos with Brailford's return that would have made him a world beater alla Froome (but with much more talent).

I guess that's a dumb question on my part...
Seemed obvious. It is interesting to see who gets defensive and doesn't bother to ask for clarification.do you expect a useful response when you cant even be bothered to quote the post you disagree with and argue your points?
Which ones should he add? You want to see him do cobbled classics?I hope that remco focuses more on the classics in 2025. Get it right and a big win is in the bag. I'll also add that red Bull is average in the classics, so Remco's recruitment can only help.
He says a lot of nonsense, but not as much as Hinault.is eddy merckx ignorant about cycling?

I think Bernal was a big climbing talent until he crashed out and killed his careerHonestly for one reason or another, Ineos have limited success with "natural" talents IMO.
So I don't think they would be a better fit for Evenepoel.
Imagine Roglas career without crashes...Good move, hope Remco can avoid crashes. Imagine his career without the 3 major accidents and very ill-timed covid. I'm cheering for him.

Yeah, with some luck, Lipowitz can achieve another podium finish. Wonder if he'll ever win a stage.I'd plead with Remco to assess the Giro and Vuelta routes for 2026 and target the best one for him.
Leave the Tour to Lipowitz. His star is rising.
And you are one of the posters that thinks crashes don't affect other riders than Remcoimagine Remco's. tho I know you are one of the posters that thinks crashes only affect every other rider but him.

No GT’s at all? Not even without Pogacar and Vingegaard? Wonder how he ever won a VueltaBora made a huge transfer.
Remco can win a lot of classics (Bora is very weak on classics), however if there is anyone here thinking Remco will win GTs, is probably naive IMO. But let's wait for the next 2 years.
