I unironically think Red Bull should also bring Roglic to Sanremo just to add extra bodies and options that may get over the Cipressa and play the tactical game later on.

During his interview after winning the “Kristallen Fiets”, he said he’ll probably ride at least another 10 seasons. While also saying the rumoured 40km ITT in the Giro is a great start, but he’s not a fan of a backloaded Giro since that would be bad for his TDF preparations

I think je isn't actually worried, he's just being nice. I do expect Remco to improve but I don't think Pogacar is worried about it

I mean, isn't a backloaded Giro kind of irrelevant for Remco? He isn't winning the Tour regardless of the Giro, if he even rides it

He wants the best possible result in the TDF, which position doesn’t matter. So he wants the best possible preparation, backloaded Giro doesn’t help

Then he has to skip the Giro regardless of the route. Otherwise he can't be at 100% at the Tour and he won't know his maximum there

That’s not necessarily true, otherwise Pogacar wouldn’t have done that in 2024, and possibly Vingegaard in 2026

That’s not necessarily true, otherwise Pogacar wouldn’t have done that in 2024.

Hate to break it to you, but Remco isn’t even in the same galaxy as Pogacar in GT's that much is beyond obvious.

He is currently battling the likes of Almeida and Lipowitz. So if Pogi did something in 24, it doesn’t mean its a real argument for others when he obvious is the outlier not the norm.
