Image of Remco in Red Bull kit released.

I'm not sure which version is the final one though.
There are pictures of the kit with Remco kit having a golden collar.
And there are also pictures of more or less the same kit but without the golden collar, and the golden accent only found in the sleeves right above the rainbow bands...

Since the one on sporza is without the golden collar, i'm guessing that's the real version.

I like that the shorts don't seem to have the big golden band like last year soudal kit.
Kinda weird seeing him wear the gloves

It's not the most stylish kit of the peleton. It remembers me a bit of older kits, like the Banesto 92 kit. So it's Retro Remco this year.

I hope he gets the Belgian Champion jersey prior to riding the TdF. That one I like a lot.

IMO the kit is off the charts hideous. I have a hard time recollecting any in many decades that was such a design mess.

What happened to less is more? Or that good design is not when you have no more to add but no more to take away?

Cannot wait for Belgian Nats in the hopes he goes for it.

In days of yore, when cycling actually included time trials, at least we would have that.

And white with horizontal stripes!? Really? Do they WANT him to look fat even when he’s not…?

The blue sleeves are a bit weird, but strangely i don't hate it. Maybe cause i personally feel it's still an upgrade to soudal kit from last year. Soudal kit was okay without the gold bands, rainbow attachments, ... but with all those things added, the design for remco's kit just looked off to me. I actually also don't dislike the green soudal kit this year, but i also feel the personal remco kit would once again look off if he still raced for soudal. That they would fumble the bag when adding the gold, and the rainbow colours. At the very least the golden/rainbow parts look better integrated under red Bull. (mostly i disliked the big golden band on the shorts of soudal kit last year).

The design found on red bull official site is slightly different. methinks that picture was taken a few weeks ago, and they slightly altered it to the design in the previously posted pictures.

Above design is on the red bull page. Initially more focus on the olympic gold and less focus on the rainbow.

I actually really like the jersey, but you can’t argue about taste. I like the blue shoulders and the lines on the shirt

Sven Vanthourenhout said Evenepoel is not riding De Ronde. They were testing stuff and doing recon for Vermeersch

He already spoke of maybe skipping some TT championships. Given that he crashed and hurt his rib last year, i have a feeling he'll sit out this year. A real shame. Would have been better had he not crashed. But the loss, crash, combined with safety first mantra, and i do not see him making an appearance. As much as i don't like people having a strategic illness during Nationals, and as much as Remco seems to revel in championships, i do not expect him to pin a number this year.

As for Flanders, i think the idea is growing. But unless the team gives the okay, it will probably be for next year.
