I think he wasn’t paying attention because after today’s race he said he was planning on riding a good result during ITT todayLooks like not feeling well and/or isn’t in shape yet.

Fair enough. I don’t see the PCS post above the stage results and just started reading the race thread. I was like damn how did you lose 3:44 on this.I think he wasn’t posting attention because after today’s race he said he was planning on riding a good result during ITT today
He said he was caught behind a crash but didn't go down himself, if I understood him correctlyLooks like not feeling well and/or isn’t in shape yet.
Tomorrow we'll see if Remco's climbing is worse or to be determined still. I'd say there are no elite puncheurs here and the only elite climber is Almeida so if he gets dropped on the last climb tomorrow (2,3km @ 9,3%) that's pretty bad, even if he ends up winning the stage/race
It wasn't not a real GC TTI do hope he wins, should have already have it in the bag after the TT.
Would be surprised if he had issues tomorrow. I can only see him lose if he’s outplayed tactically, but I would think he’s the strongest in the peloton at the moment. He’s a two time LBL winner after all.Tomorrow we'll see if Remco's climbing is worse or to be determined still. We'll see, if he gets beaten tactically that's something else than just not being good enough to follow on the climbWould be surprised if he had issues tomorrow. At UAE Tour on the other hand…

In that case, after the UAE Tour he might already have 10 wins this season. No vingo at use. As long as the tt is not neutered, he has that won

With the speed he picks up WT wins....Is Remco starting the season too hot? Will he be lukewarm by the time the Tour de France starts?
Red Bull in it's entirety seems to be at a high level. It could fall off at some point, but it's also very early to tell. I don't think it's that terrible to be 85% in February when the rest is at 75%.Is Remco starting the season too hot? Will he be lukewarm by the time the Tour de France starts?
I concur. Also about motos not related to Remco cause it has happens a lot and it feels like its happening more rather than less, which is becoming a real problem. It needs to be addressed. My conclusions today: Remco was the strongest and deserved to with but the motos on the climb just when he attacked were outrageous, 8 motos in 50m, it's a big problem in cycling. Also, if he wasn't that aero he could have been caught, I think he overdid it on the climb and was somewhat cooked afterwards. So at the end, the strongest rider won, but without motos and as aero as others he might not ...
23 km hills suits Almeida betterI concur. Also about motos not related to Remco cause it has happens a lot and it feels like its happening more rather than less, which is becoming a real problem. It needs to be addressed.
Almeida is not good in his first race, and 2.3 km hills is not his specialty to say the least. This suits Remco very well and duo to that Im not particularly impressed. That said Remco wasnt bad either and did what he was supposed to.

Like I said in my first statement, Remco was the strongest and deserved to win, I didn't say he won because of the motos just that it's a problem, which it isHe pushed hard and went into the red, but he did not win cause of motos. The others were in his wheel when they dropped. The aero part sounds like if granny smiths weren't green, they could be red to my ears. Part of remco's strenghts is that he's aero. Also he took that last short wall well enough.
Without his fast-twitch muscle fibres, Merlier might not be winning any sprints. My conclusions today: Remco was the strongest and deserved to with but the motos on the climb just when he attacked were outrageous, 8 motos in 50m, it's a big problem in cycling.
