Take it with a huge grain of salt, but RBH is putting “Evenepoel in De Ronde” back on the table for this year.

I’ve got it by 3rd hand, hence the huge grain of salt. Maybe @LongtimeLurker knows more?

Given that Pogacar has not skipped Emilia in 2024 and raced full gas in the Euro's in 2025 in the exact same calendar spot, I would think Pogacar is gonna be going full gas in Ljubljana.

I

I know, but don't understand their thinking. He would have gained much more doing TA and MSR.
He should have probably done the exact same schedule as Del Toro up until now.

The early start in Mallorca and Valenciana was completely meaningless. Then terrible in UAE.

I still expect him to better for Catalunya and Ardennes though.

It is just a bit typical for Remco.

That's what I'm talking about. His condition and prep should come in these races, not Mallorca. He'd have been at anltitude and leaner by now. It's mind-boggling.

So an altitude peak from beginning of March to end of April? I don’t think LBL would go as well as it will now
Nah, he goes back to altitude before Liege. What's the problem? Although, he should do Flanders, then altitude again, then Liege!

So which climbs do you have in the Giro-Tour?
No idea, but clearly the climb in valencia is superior.
Valencia is known for it's oranges. Clearly the weather all year round is much better, and nicer.
Even Jonas will agree, climbing in rain and frost is no good.

Why would Remco need altitude camp before LBL? What will he achieve with that?

Hopefully his best condition and his best shot at getting a good result
Also if remco is still serious about GT's, he needs to start spending more time climbing mountains.
