as qs changes bike to merida , rb will be the only team on specialized
They're good at marketing but are stretching to sell those new Roubaix's with RB's lineup. Guess the hopeful, high-dollar/pound/mark purchasers will follow.
Be nice if they still found room to boost some up and comers...

Long pre-race interview.

AI summary:

• Evenepoel states he is starting this edition with more confidence and better physical form than last year. He is coming off a major boost after winning his first-ever Amstel Gold Race a week ago, where he beat Mattias Skjelmose in a sprint.
• He intentionally skipped La Flèche Wallonne to ensure he arrives at the start of "La Doyenne" as fresh as possible, focusing entirely on the 260-kilometer Monument.
• Despite his own confidence, Evenepoel acknowledges Tadej Pogačar as the clear top favorite, noting that the Slovenian "wins almost everywhere." Evenepoel hopes the race remains exciting and competitive for as long as possible.
• He identifies the 19-year-old Paul Seixas as a dangerous outsider who could finish in the top five, though he cautions that the "last hour" of a six-hour race is a different beast for such a young rider.
• Evenepoel raised several safety issues:
• He criticized the positioning of motorbikes, which he says often ride too close and can unfairly influence the race or create dangerous situations.
• He warned about the deteriorating state of the roads in the Ardennes, specifically highlighting the dangerous descent of the Côte du Rosier.
• He called on the organizers (ASO) to prioritize rider safety regarding these road conditions.
• The article also notes that Evenepoel has solidified his future by signing a lifelong contract with Specialized, ensuring he will ride their bikes for the remainder of his career, a deal facilitated following his move to Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe.

Unless i remember the interview wrong, the translation seems slightly altered for drama, sensation and clicks.
Could be wrong, But would not be surprised.

or Remco knows the most likely is Pog solo followed by Remco solo

Hopefully, if Sexias somehow manages to stay with Remco briefly like at the ECRR, Remco deos not let Sexias on the front. The time Sexias was on the front cost Remco a chance at a win as Sexias cost Remco 40 seconds on a section of the course that favored Remco

Don't listen to Horner, Remco. If you and Sexias are dropped, the best chance to catch Pog is to ride your bike

Everyone who wants to hear what Remco said better go to the dutch sporza, hln or nieuwsblad site (wherever the transcript of the interview comes from) and do an AI translation. Those clickbait sites and even the cycling sites love to spin it. Thijs Zonneveld (Dutch Journalist), known for his sharp commentary, even confessed he is checking every word and mimmick of Remco's face for stories because he is gold for every journal.

You’re not wrong, happens all the time.
But I do get a feeling, from an interview yesterday, Remco is getting a bit annoyed that everybody is asking him about Seixas all the time.

It's weird seeing remco this weak when he has no excuses.
that crash into that car door took something off him it seems. he'll need a rethink on what goals to set from now. on
I mean he should still ride the TdF as planned. But after that, it's back to the drawing board to see what's realistically possible. After the TdF he'll need to face a new reality.

Disappointed for Remco. It must be frustrating to put in so much work, make a big team move, and end up going backwards at the same time as Pogacar and Seixas make a massive leap forward. You have to wonder how much of this is physical vs mental. Pogacar has the advantage of knowing he is the best; Seixas has an iron will it seems and hasn’t suffered defeat after defeat like Remco has recently (outside of TTs); Remco seems mercurial by nature and is a champion who doesn’t take it well when others ride away.
He’s just too fat.
