Thor Hushovd anxiety thread

What is happening with Thor Hushovd? He pulled out of the Tour of Poland citing fatigue and now the Olympics are in doubt too. Does anyone know what is wrong with him?

It is a bit of a concern, I am a big fan of Thor's. Mononucleosis is a possibility though I am sure he has undergone heaps of tests.

I don't think age is the issue though!

he did drop out of the 2012 Giro from fatigue and "the legs didn't work". Maybe it is a continuing problem. Viral maybe?

From today's story on CN Thor has a virus.

So they claim Secondary Myositis, but then again this could be something they overlooked Myositis as an Unusual Presentation of Secondary Syphilis.

Either way, why does he need to fly off to Salt Lake City, with the plethora of doctors on cycling teams these day's you'd think they'd have it covered (so to speak).
