Pretty bad from Contador, but last year it also sucked, still you expect a bit better.

Wow the race is wide open. Nibs up on Berto and Nairo right behind Berto!

Quintana poor. No chance to even contest the overall.

Good ride by Contador, controlling the time loss to elite Grand Tour time trialllists like Nibali :p

I might be missing the sarcasm, from "poor" to "good" there are only 2 secs.

And for all 4 GC contenders: They are within 11 secs

well... lot of work for bertie then. Nibs clearly is better than contador in ITT. He must improved a lot.

Nibali has always been very good in prologues, there's nothing to worry about.

Where was Malori when he was on my CQ team?

Spartacus so close

Great save by Sagan

wondering how much time he lost by that "almost" crash. Still managed Top10 and that's impressive.

Think Contador still the clear favorite.
Nibali so far this season was rather worse than last season at this point. Doubt that he'll manage to keep up on the Terminillo.
Quintana.... no clue, but imagine he'll be roughly where he was last year.
Leaves Uran, IF he is here to ride for the win, and not just to train, he could be hard to beat. (Same story at the Giro, forget Aru, Uran is the main danger!) Problem here though is that for the last 2 years he basically has been invisible until the Giro. Just training, nothing more.

Peter Sagan very good considering his near-crash.

Sven Nys (Co-commentator at Flemish TV for today) said that he thought Sagan looked a lot more muscular compared to last year.

This is only a 5.4 km effort. I wouldn't read too much into it either way. I await the mtf.
