No word about the last minute withdrawal of Bini? Probably still in Eritrea with his wife and newborn child? If I was manager of Intermarche I would like to have my star rider in Tirreno to score some points! Every year there is a period where Girmay wants to go home, is sick or DNF after a little scratch.
this is what was announced before Het Nieuwsblad:

"I am so happy to become father for the second time. I am grateful to my team to give me the opportunity to come back in Eritrea to be close to my wife and my daughters for this important moment in my life. I will be back in Europe to chase my dream of winning a first monument, with Milano-San Remo, E3 Harelbeke, Gent-Wevelgem and Tour of Flanders on my program."

If he planed to do Tirreno, I guess it would have been mentioned there. So it likely wasn't a last minute change.

Starting position of Visma is a bit weird. Why do Yates and Uijtdebroeks start before Valter and Van Baarle?

Has anyone commented on the Super Mario chime as riders cross the finish line? Has this been done before anywhere? I like it.

I'm Team Bowser.
I find that chime extremely insensitive and highly offensive.

Adam Yates vs Anders H. Johannessen
Simon Yates vs Tobias H. Johannessen

Only one Van Dijke brother on the startlist. Big missed opportunity.
