Huh?

I dont what you saw, but just said that because he was literally just chasing and pulling the group behind.

It was just a joke...
When they were fighting for the turn to get on the gravel, Wout dropped down to mid pack. He doesn't have the nerve to fight for the front anymore. I think his falls have taken a mental toll. I was just saying that any resistance he had for MVDP are days long gone. He's gone from 2nd, to riding for top 10 at best in any classic.

But where does this has anything to do with what I said?

MvdP barely beating Del Toro after sitting on his wheel is not the best confident boost vs Pog, but make no mistake it was high lvl. But great stage awesome racing we take those!

It was more the point Wout and MVDP being in the same sentence anymore, isn't really a thing. His days of being in mentioned in relation to MVDP are over.
I can't wait for Horner's take putting Wout and Rogla as page 1 riders still.
He still has Roglic as number 2 in the world...

If anything after today Pogi will sleep much better, my friend.
I don't think Pogacar sleeps better when he sees MVDP dropping Del Toro at a section of 9%, and when Del Toro catches up able to stay with him and eventually finishing Del Toro in a sprint at sections of average 8% when he weighs 10kg more

Sure, but unnecessary to post such a rant when my post was an obvious joke when we literally saw him pulling and chasing in the group behind. As many times before.

How you felt the need to go on rant that no one should mention them together after years of rivarly, because it has obivously become a bit loopsided (hence my joke) in later years, still escapes me.

In many ways, they will always be mentioned and compared to each other with their history. Again, hence my post.

Duh..
MVDP had a gap on Del Toro thanks to the crash and Del Toro still caught him.
MVDP wasn't too impressive. That means nothing for Cipressaa and Poggio though.

Van Aert getting stronger every day...he should be back on top soon to at least challenge MVP for some sprints
If strength isn't the issue (and that will always be an issue against MVDP), positioning when things get dicy is what he's lost. When there's a fight for position, he pulls the ripcord, and gets out of danger.

By dropping Del Toro you mean Jorgenson's crash? Del Toro caught MVP afterwards and lead the whole finale (losing some energy). It was a very good win by MVP anyway.
