26 secs is not that much. Evans will probably gain that on gesink in the itt alone (gesink isn't very good at short flat time trials aka prologues). Plus evans is probably a little better at these little explosive climbs.

Agree it's like watching paint dry - fast.
Lots of interesting colours but not much of interest.
But TTTs are nearly always boring to watch.
