Bah, Cav lost Renshaw and sat up with 100m to go. Very dissapointing. Tyler Farrar, Sprinter of Garmin Transitions takes the win in a pretty boring sprint.

And Renshaw still got 4th after waiting for Cav and then coming from a long way back. As much as I hate to say it it was a good ride by Garmin and well done to Farrar

I'm not.

If Cav had his Tour form all season long then cycling would be pretty darn boring on all the sprint stages... or at least more boring then sprints already are.

He's using the new electronic sprint buttons this year after refusing to use electronic gears up until now, could it have been a bad gear change? No excuse just a thought

Got dropped on the tiny tiny climb, chased back with his whole team, then lost Renshaw's wheel in the final KM and had a go from waaaaaay back, gave up 100m from the line, finished outside the top 10.

clearly out of form. It's nearly the same situation as last year, perhaps his form is a bit better, but not much. He had the stright line at the finish and with top form he would have destroyed the others.

Surely you haven't paid much attention to their sprinting, because 90% of the time EBH is a better sprinter than Sutton and Sutton has been Edvald's leadoutman in all races they have done together except from K-B-K when Edvald voluntarily said that he wanted to do the leadout for Sutton.

Edvald looked fairly bad today though, probably just didn't have the legs.

But he didn't win any sprints in Oman whereas the one sprint EBH let Sutton do in KBK he won.

I'll pay more attention in future though just so I don't upset you maltiv!

That was a bit of a strange argument alright. If Hushovd and Farrar are in the same race and it's basically flat and going to end in a mass sprint, why would he refuse to do a lead out unless he's suddenly become allergic to money?
