Come on T-A, let's see some fireworks. Paris-Nice was dull as dishwater today, it's up to you to restore my faith in the sport.

Boonen is still in the pack I see, and I assume Eddy Bos is too, has Farrar been sighted?

How come this stream works so great, but the P-N were awful?! :p

Hutarovich ftw! Seriously, Bennati I think or Boonen

edit martens they are saying (for rabo)

speaking of the rabo rider he was poorly placed with 500m to go, did extremely well.

Boonen got the perfect lead-out from the Liquigas train, it was too easy for him in the end.

McEwen in fourth, nice ride from him.

I hope there is some actual racing somewhere tomorrow.

tomorrow is a chane the sprinters will have their way again. Though I think the san baronto (about 15km from the end) will be a lil much for some of them.

How about Martens? Impressive sprint, didn't really expect him there.

I imagine it will be enough to shell Cav, with the way he has been going. I hope Farrar and EBH can get up in the mix with Boonen and Bennati and make it a bit more interesting.

Hushovds form is looking very poor, he was put into a great position but started to fade even before the sprint proper started.

indeed impressive (where is friere?). Though I remember him riding well before the vuelta last year where he podium a few times. He is capable of a good sprint, but this was very impressive and unexpected. good ride, especially considering where he started his sprint from. :)

Wow... Bennati must feel a bit stupid, he couldn't have possibly asked for a better leadout.

Twas indeed impressive by Martens. Never seen him do that before.

Any breaks in the peleton reported? Liquigas had the pack strung out something awful?

As a Rabo fan, you should be able to discern that this wasn't Freire.

Paul Martens singlehandedly led Freire to a stage win in the Ruta del Sol, bringing him all the way from 20th position to the front within a hundred meters. He could have won that stage himself, because frankly he looked stronger than Freire.

yeh my stream was god awful. I remember that, he might get some results this year if given the chance.

EBH was blocked by some Euskaltel rider who failed (not sure what he was doing, if he crashed or what) with 1k to go.

You're joking right?
Yeah.
I take it that Team SF's is Dim's, non posting alter ego.
The link has now been removed.
DT has a lot to say for someone who went into winter hibernation, when the rest of us, such as Dim, kept this place alive.

Oh and a decent finish, again.
