Scarponi was just better. In the lead for so long and still held on. Cunego attacked a couple of times before Evans and easily held on. Evans was too far back and just failed like he usually does when he tries to win something.

Many people forget to even mention him as a gc contender. Kreuziger is getting more tips for a giro podium than him. I have to go round reminding people about Scarponi on these boards because they make lists of who is going to be there in the giro and forget about his existence.

Whats more they come out with crap that nibali was 2nd best climber in the Giro. In my opinion anyone who says Nibali was better than Scarponi in the mountains is a hater.
