I'm going riding. It's 2 degrees and a bit of snow blowing around but I can't watch Sky again today. Looking forward to catching up on the thread in a few hours.

Yes, exactly. Sorry for rambling, poor issuance of broadcast rights is my pet hate.

It's all about making the money. Acquarone & co sold US broadcast rights to a new channel, beIN sports. Unfortunately, they aren't carried widely.

Why we can't move into modern times and just have a proper* working quality stream subscription for a niche sport like cycling, is beyond me.

*proper = not cyclingTV

Yeh but RCS retain (or at least did until 2013) the right to stream their races online as they did until now. Now they don't do that so most people in the world do not have legal access to their races. A massive step backwards, I don't care if I have to pay for a premium service.

agreed - that Gazzetta stream was great, not having it is a great loss. I assume RCS maybe stopped it so they could charge more for the new broadcast contracts they set up this year?

And I fear things will only get worse with the new cycling series. I hope I'm wrong about that though :(

I would gladly pay for access to ALL of the races.
