Ok, Rai have now scheduled half an hour of crap...

agreed - that Gazzetta stream was great, not having it is a great loss. I assume RCS maybe stopped it so they could charge more for the new broadcast contracts they set up this year?

And I fear things will only get worse with the new cycling series. I hope I'm wrong about that though :(

Yeh that is why they would have done it, as would have been instructed to them by the fancy distributor they signed up with. Funny thing is this is against the grain of models used successfully by organisations such as NBA/MLB (correct me if I'm wrong).

It is about the money. Not about the fans.

As i see such a big race like Tirreno is broadcasted by only 3 channels in the world: Rai, sporza and eurosport, right ? So if I didn't have Eurosport, I'd be in cycling isolation :)

Good for him. I hope he gets over his fear of descending soon.

I think you're right. I'd pay for an online subscription too, if we ever get the chance. RCS used to lead the way as far as getting the info out to fans, good stream, interactivity, etc. Not anymore.

Oh how I miss the big old giant "Mario Cippolini al telefono" box covering all the info graphics & half the screen for hours on end :p

41 km to go
2 km to the summit of Monte Lanciano

Cunego alone, looking good
Devolder + 1'50"
Sky train (6 riders) cruising along + 2'50", 40 others still with them

No attacks whatsoever.
