What a nice stage! Great for Evans. Despite everything, he deserved to win Tirreno a lot more than Gesink.

I agree, Gesink wasn't good enough in the hills, if he wins a big stage race, I wanna see him at his best, in his best area.

Dissapointing ride by Cadel but he still wins

Come on mate... it's his 3rd race of the season and he has given it everything the past 3 days. He did what he had to do. Winning the GC was extremely optimistic at the start of the race. This has been a brilliant race by him and the whole BMC team.

BTW with 3 Rabos in the top-10 of the TT you can see that the TTT win wasn't a coincidence (and Langeveld even took it easy today).

Don't get me wrong, Evans totally deserves this. 2nd best win of his career IMO.

agreed strong time trial by gesink. He has podium and of course the youngest riders classification. But he wasnt at his best on the climbs and could only limit his losses and not contend for the stage wins. Cuddles could and he deserves his win.

if you did that evans winning margin would actually be bigger. BMC had one of the worse ttt's
