Larger than I expected, yes.

With these types of gaps a guy like Pinotti could (and probably should) make some significant gains. Maybe even podium.

BTW, you're completely right, the gaps really are big. People going full throttle and coming in 1'30" off the pace, in 9 kms. That's a lot indeed.

He was top 10 in both ITTs at Eneco last year. Pretty decent time-trialing results so far, and can climb a little.

Alright, Sammy is excepted. Either way I wonder if Castroviejo makes the TdF squad with Les Essarts in mind.

Sporza commentators telling us the 2nd part is headwind.

A lot of riders now lose 20+ seconds plus in the second part, while they are close to Cancellara in the first part.

Seems the wind is picking up then?
