I cant even be bothered to garner any enthusiasm for this race (and thats nothing to do with sky not being there) i just cant get excited about it. the giro is more interesting.

I like to see a little more mountain and longer stages. Plus the coverage of the TdU here in US is poor.
Also like Cali was to early in the season.

The organisers would like to make a tougher course also, but realise that the success of the event is dependent on time of year and what the riders and teams want. Hence flat stages, sleep at the same hotel every night, no TT hence no TT bikes. That sort of thing. The organisers seem content and aren't overly ambitious.
