Excuse me I didn’t troll anybody, Peyote started mocking my comments about Pidcock so I cannot defend myself?
He can’t accept any criticism of his favourite rider so put me on ignore. My other comments have been constructive to riders until Peyrote feels the need to mock someone’s comments. Why should it be me getting a cool off period ?
Fair. I'm a Pidcock fan too. Our boy did great today.

Some humble pie anyone?

For Pidcock? Or someone else?

Edit - I honestly don't know who this is directed at
OK, so not knowing whether Pidcock should eat the pie, or some hater I am unaware of, on to the next.

This GT has to be one of Tom's best chances to podium in a GT (or top 5), possibly ever. He has targeted it and focused on road most of the season. The pool is not very deep. It is climbing focused. The team is dedicated to him. If he ends up outside of the top 5, I would not be terribly impressed by his GT GC capacities

Pidcock is a great racer. He obviously eats humble pie happily and often!
Did you see his comments post TTT stage?
He said it was his first as a pro, said he was happy with results, wasn't a total disaster.
Interviewed after each stage, says similar things daily, trying to get a feel, doesn't want to overdue it first week because race routes, elevation gain and human condition will make 2ndand 3rd weeks more difficult. Tom gave praise to Almeida and Vingegaard while still managing to include that he did OK and was happy with his result. He is obviously not the strongest, fastest, best climber, best sprinter but he also doesn't think about anything, the guy has a natural flow in a race, he just has a sense not to pick crappie wheels and when a wheel starts to go stale, he moves off like today with Gall and others.
Guy is not flashy or flamboyant but he gets the job done. And when they tried to bait Almeida to get pissed off, didn't work because Tom was not some wheel leech, he worked when he could and his contributions, while not equal to Almeida helped UAE move up on GC..
Pidcock style is refreshing to watch.

Great ride today - arguably better than his win on the Alpe in 2022? Field isn't very deep at this Vuelta and not a very hard MTF on paper but the fact Vingegaard won the stage after attacking near the base of the climb tells me Pidders has to be in very good climbing shape to finish just 24 seconds down. I hope he can continue to ride strongly the remainder of this Vuelta.

Pidcock feasts only on the blood of Pogacar from now on.

Not you, but the one or two who gave him no chance even of top ten will be sick of pie by the time he overtakes Vingo for the win!

This Vuelta is no weaker than the last few.
In fact I’ve heard it said on this forum by a pie muncher that Pidcock has no chance of a top ten in this Vuelta because the Giro had a weaker field and he couldn’t do it there…

Also his team is weak, let’s not have any weak Vuelta and strong team stuff, even if you’re maybe not a pie muncher.
Be honest, you looked at the pie, you thought about the pie.

What you all do not understand is that this is the new Pidcock, just like I said , Pidcocks time to shine, and here it is.
If he didn’t want to destroy the world in Olympic mtb we’re all saying Tadej who? Pogacar what ?

Shame he’s on a weak team, probably have this race wrapped up by now if he was UAE.
Let’s go champ. LET’S GO CHAMP
